The host was lovely and accompanied us to a local hammam the night we arrived, even though it was fairly late. She even waited for us to finish, which was really good of her, especially since we would not have been able to find our way back through the labyrinthine alleys of the old medina. The next day, her daughter guided us through the medina to the tourist highlights of the Al-Karaouine Mosque and the Chouara tannery, so we didn't get conned by the numerous fake guides around.
all reviews » Great breakfast - very varied with fresh foods. Best we had in Morocco. Beautiful views from the terrace. Having our own key to the front door meant we could come and go easily as we wanted. It was nice that the family used the public areas - it felt very friendly and welcoming. We were able to buy street food and eat it on the terrace. We've slept in 2 rooms. Both were nice and spacious and nicely arranged. The bathrooms were clean and nice. Breakfast were the best we had in Morocco. The hotel has terrace, where they serve breakfast and the view is stunning. The family is nice and friendly. The hotel has fast wi-fi connection. Spectacular house in the heart of medina but easy to find if you take the main street (coming into medina using the "door" close to the bus station). The room has two beds, bathroom and everything was nice. We lost the breakfast because we have to take a bus at 8 o'clock!. The family of owners was very nice and helpful. They made us breakfast with hot pancakes at 7.00 in the morning as we had to leave early. The interior of riad is very nice and it seems recently renovated. There is a terrace on the roof with a view to the medina. The location is excellent in the middle of old Medina and the room too big its actually as suite... And the breakfast was traditional food and good prepared by the host family.. The family was nice and helpful ... Very nice view of Medina from roof. Because is living a family here, for us was like home, but this could not be ok for others. The breakfast is really great, love it. Friendly owner, riad is clean, hot water. - TV didn't work in our room - The shower didn't drain well - The rooms were a little dark. It was hard to find, because the street is narrow and it's name is not shown on any map. We had to use a help of local people and pay them for showing us the way. The breakfast is only served between 6 and 10 hours :(. It was cold at night. N the There is no room services and in 3 days of my stay no body enter my place for cleaning and there was no agitation in bathroom and the smeal not good. Bit noisy. Little bit confusing to reach the maison because in the main street was written different name than the name showed in booking. Hard to find. Our shower was flooded, it was a bit hard to find.
