The Hotel Vardar is in the city square in Kotor. Not far from the main entrance. It is a very nice hotel with wonderful staff. The rooms were luxurious and although a bit dark felt very elegant. The stay included a fabulous breakfast! The waiter was very helpful with the breakfast and with historical and city information. The location of the hotel within the walled city is perfect. The city of kotor should not be missed. Parking is available and is not far from the hotel. We didn't have views f.

The terrace outside of the hotel is one of the nicest places in Kotor to have coffe or glass of wine. The breakfast menu was really good, as well as the menu of the restaurant. A place to recommend!. Lovely, convenient location and easy parking arrangements. Good bathroom and spacious room(junior suite). You can also have breakfast on the terrace, if you request. Try to visit Galion, the sister restaurant nearby. Beautiful food in gorgeous setting(10% reduction for Vardar guests). The location of the hotel is absolutely superb. I loved having coffee at the terrace overlooking the main square. The rooms are very comfortable, beautifully designed. The service is excellent. The staff was always available and kind. Obviously, you can't bring your car into the old town, so lugging your bags 2+ blocks from the car lot was a challenge...but we managed. Nothing. While the hotel is situated a great part of the Old Town, unfortunately it does get quite noisy. Also the bathroom was new and beautifully decorated, but very small and bit too tight to maneuver. There was no counter top space and the shower was a challenge to get in and out. I also found the service at breakfast very slow and it might have been nice, but no one was around to refill the food and drink, so there was barely anything there!. The breakfast (which was included) was very good, but we had dinner on the terrace one night and found the food and service to be surprisingly below our expectations. Also, the hotel room internet access, although free, was unreliable. All good. We had a problem with shower fitting our first room but the staff were quick to move us into a better room. Service outside No coffee and teamaker in the room. We requested non smoking room and ours smelled of smoke, someone must have been smoking next door but it was though they were in the room with us. Shower could have been cleaner. Carpet was stained and had cigarette burn marks. Breakfast was modest. Bars shut too early. No wifi reception from the hotel room, my hotel room was close to a nightclub entrance, and was exposed to loud music until after 1am. Food was awful. Horrible smell of cigarette smoke throughout hotel. Did not care for location. Room rather dark Loud music disturbed sleep Very poor quality coffee at breakfast Shower room dangerously slippery.
