We lived in the apartment of the second floor. It was very comfortable with a special decoration with objects all over the world. The kitchen was very big with all the facilities for people who would like to cook and not eat outside. Living room was also very big with a big balkony door were you could see the old town. all reviews » The staff was very friendly and very helpful. They gave us many tips on where to go, what to do must see places. The room was very clean. Even though we just had a room and not an apartment with a small kitchen, we got plates and cutlery without a problem. It is very close to the Old Town of Kotor (2mins walk) with a stunning view of the fortress. Large supermarket just opposite the apartment. ATMs everywhere in the area! Quiet at night time with no street noise. Perfect starting point for bay. The location was really brilliant, you couldnt fault it. You cannot get a car in the historic centre so if you have one you need to park outside and this provided free parking at the back which was tight but possible to get into. The guy running it helped us park in the front when parking in the back wasn't possible because on a Friday it was packed. The room was big and had lots of English TV channels to watch. The sofa was comfortable to sleep on. We booked the apartment which had great facilities - a very well equipped kitchen and a bathroom with a wonderful shower !. The location is also perfect for the old town and the nearest swimming area. Its only 4 mins walk to each yet you are away from the noise of any 'night life'. Proximity to the local shopping centre and super market were a bonus and we would choose to stay at Tianis again. Fantastic location - only a couple of minutes from old city and across the street from a grocery store and some restaurants. Kitchen and bathroom was good. The people who run the place were lovely and helpful. They did my laundry at no charge which was unexpected and unnecessary, but hugely helpful to me. The apartment was just outside the old city opposit to a shopping centre. We had a room at the rear which was quiet and the people very friendly. Excellent location only a short walk from the Bus Station. Good eating in the old town and able to get a boat ride around the bay just 50m from the apartment. Excellent location (very close to the old town), and despite this they've got an own parking "facility", which is a huge bonus given the impossible parking situation in the nearby streets. The owner Vladimir was very friendly and helped us much with the organizations of excursions and trips. mr. vladimir is simply great, he helped us out in a number of ways. the apartment is ok and very close to Kotor center. with local buses you can easily reach Perast, another gem or the Kotor bay. The location was just outside of the old town which gore us, was better than inside it. The staff were cheerful and helpful and our breakfast was good. The facilities were comfortable. Since it's not the high season, staff were not on site and if I needed something, I needed to call. I didn't find anyone that went out of their way to be helpful. Clean comfortable beds.good location. We had cold to lukewarm water in the morning (9am) and in the evening (22:30) it was warm for 2 min then back to cold. We complained the next day and the lady there said theres 1 boiler for all the flats and nothing was done. We also had a leak in the basin but that's not serious. I found the bed to be way to soft and uncomfortable (felt like the bed would collapse) but my wife slept ok. I slept on the sofa the next night and it was comfortable. There was nothing not to like - staff even carried our bags up the stairs so the lack of a lift was not an issue. Whilst our week in Kotor was excellent and we walked, wandered and swam each day, I do not think the area is suitable for families with small children as the beach area is stoney and the water shelves steeply. Apartment is a bit dark in the attic as there are no windows in the main living area. There is also no sitting area - only two single beds which are extremely soft. It proved to be a bit too difficult to find based on the address, but in hindsight looking at the map would have helped :). Our room was on the second floor. avoid the supermarket in front of Tianis, it is really overpriced, only for turists. buy your stuff somewhere nearby. Nothing. Main office rarely manned. Some staff lacked adequate English for basic hotel requests. On going hot water problems. Our "apartment" was more like a small room, no couch and only one chair at dining table. N/A. The air conditioner was seriously underpowered for the August temperatures. very little. Room could have been cleaner. mattress was too soft. The location of the accommodation. The TV did not work. Had to wait for ten minutes for someone to turn up in reception. Apartment a bit cramped for three people. Kitchen was dirty, bad lighting, terrible shower, horrible decor.
