Excellent location for little money. 3 short blocks from the beach and Walmart. Very reasonable eateries across the street for breakfast, lunch and dinner. It's not a 5 star, but very clean with old type TV, refrigerator, and free WIFI. Staff was very accommodating. Staff were always very positive and responsive. Location was great, quickly accessible to Playa Del Carmen activities and restaurants. A very good price/value and quite a bit above the norm for Mexican small hotels.

Just wish it was a few blocks closer to the ferry & bus station, but almost no hotel is. On at least 3 attempts, we had no hot water. But we were there for 9 nights, so it wasn't so bad. Fan didn't work right - it had only one really, really fast speed. No screen door on sliding door to protect from mosquitoes and get some fresh air. Thus I had to use the ac and keep the door closed. Street Noise (this was easily solved by closing the patio door, but didn't allow for much enjoyment on the patio) Rooms facing the other street might have less issue with this. no water pressure in shower, old refrigerator in room not working. No refrigerator and like everywhere else in Playa we did see couple of ants running around :). concrete pillows. Small room, no table and chairs. no phone no flat tv. Limited hot water and low water pressure. Rooms very simple. TV in my room was old and had poor reception, a/c an old and noisy window unit. The hotel room was infested with mosquitoes and my friend and I suffered many bites during the course of our stay. In fact, there were blood stains on one of the bedsheets which were presumably from the mosquitoes. Even cooling the room with A/C on full blast was not enough to subvert their strength. The mattresses were also very hard and uncomfortable and made for getting an adequate night of rest difficult. I could not wait to return home. Not very clean. The pictures online are very deceiving! The toilets are not clean and are very stained! The sheets are moldy and there's a very bad odor in each rooms. All in all, not a very good experience for us. We were glad we only stayed there for a day. Didn't clean my room. -Loud music until after 10pm in the atrium. - WiFi inoperable until late evening. - Beds are worse than a futon mattress. - No blanket. - No hot water at 4am when I needed to get ready and check out. - Industrial soap dispenser in bath. No other amenities. Upon booking,they charged my credit card,with the change rate 13,at the same time the change rate in bank is only 11.50,they even charge me 46peso more but they refused to cancel the charge on my credit card.It is a real cheating,booking should deleat this hotel.also the air conditioner is very noisy and doesn't work.there is no drinking water.never recommend this hotel. The toilet wasn't flash and they didn't want me to give an other room or money back. The stuff was unfriendly and very rude. The room was noisy becvause was beside the main road. Never again!!.
