An excellent new or newly-refurbished hotel. Smartly decorated. Excellent pool with jacuzzi in exotic courtyard. Sit by the pool or have breakfast and watch parrots, woodpeckers, squirrels etc in the palms overhead. Quiet, leafy location a short walk from town centre. Easy parking. Large, comfortable room. A great choice for your stay in Palenque. Beautiful hotel setting, with a pool in the middle, and a nice restaurant with tables looking out on the road. It a nice safe hotel area in Palenque, with other restaurants nearby. The room was lovely and good value. We also had dinner at the resturant for the two of the eves that we there and it was very tasty. The staff we're very helpful.
all reviews » We liked everything. The hotel looks like it has just been renovated so everything was new and clean. The room was spacious, the pool lovely and everyone working there was very friendly always smiling. The hotel is in a lovely tree lined street with lots of restaurants in the same street. It was well located in the city of Palenque, the Lacañada area, where there are tourist hotels, and some restaurants that are good. Leafy area. It was immaculately clean, was attractive and was lower cost. We spent most of the day at the ruins, anyway. Close to the ado bus station and a lot of restaurants, in a hotel zone. Nice clean rooms, with all amenities one needs fir a short stay. As with most places in Mexico, be prepared to speak a little Spanish - a little effort goes a long way. We stayed three nights at this Hotel. It is in a quiet street within a 3-5 minutes walk from the main street. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. It offers a very good value for money. The very friendly and efficient staff, the hotel layout and the location. Very nice place, in walking distance to to city center with all you need after a day of exploring ruins. Allowed us to check in at 6am on arrival on the overnight bus from Merida as our room was available). Proximity to town and the surrounding streets were very pleasant. All the employees were very helpful and gracious. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water, the a/c worked great, as did the fan. Perfect services. Pretty nice staffs. Directions on letsbookhotel.com are wrong - go with the address and a town plan - it's actually very easy to get to from the main roads running through Palenque. No breakfast option. WiFi signal is very poor in the rooms, but it wasn't a major inconvenience for us, as you can have a nice cold beer on the terrace by the pool, where WiFi works...well...swimmingly. Breakfast is very poor/strange. For any reason they only provide either orange juice or fresh fruits - we were also allowed to take one glas of juice per person. Has to be improved. TIles became slippery due to rain and one of our group fell and luckily did not suffer a image. A small bar fridge would top off an otherwise excellent room. I like a cup of coffee as soon as I wake up. If coffee isn't available in the dining room, maybe coffee makers could be put in the rooms. Or, distribute coffee makers upon client request. not a lot of restaurant choices around. few people outside after 7:00 pm. breakfast not included. Could have a coffee maker in room. Charged for ice. Need more outlets. Laundry rates too high. Poor english. None especially. lack of facility for hanging washed clothes. Pool noise is really loud in rooms, as well as neighbor rooms due to thin walls.
