The room was spotlessly clean and bed very comfortable. It was also very quiet. The staff reminded that the clocks were going forward the day before checkout which was brilliant otherwise I would have missed my flight. There were some problems with WiFI internet access and my room phone but two staff sorted it our very quickly. It's a great location. Excellent clean hotel. Great location close to metro and also for walking the city. The rooms are well soundproofed with very comfortable bed and pillows. There is a balcony in every room which has great sights over the city. Would definately stay here again - great value for money.
all reviews » Booked here 3 times over the last 2 months. Ideal hotel, in a good location, very clean, great staff, would have no hesitation in recommending. Very close to Metro which I used all the while to get everywhere. Location (right near main party strip but also close to la condesa, big park and light 40 min stroll to downtown), price, excellent bilingual staff who were very helpful and knowledgeable. The location was freaking fantastic.... and the view from the 18th floor was out of this world... Fantastic... will stay there again...for sure... clean, friendly,comfortable, good value for money,very close to metro and close to Zona Rosa. Service and assistance provided by the staff in a midnight emergency with my son. Good effecient hotel with supportive staff and good clean rooms.Funky area. location, room, large round bath tub, staff were very accomodating. The location is great: Avenida Reforma del Paseo, where a lot of shops and restaurants are located, is easy accessible (5 minutes going on foot). The service is also good, all the staff have been polite and english- speaking. The Wi-Fi internet access as well in lobby as in rooms. Interior of the rooms and inner spaces is cozy, in 80s-style, with the great soundproofing. This hotel is located 10km from airport (20-40 min by taxi), so we have paid for taxi only 200 pesos, that is relatively chea. It was a let down at the very least. The photos make it look much better than it actually is. It's vintage 80s style...if you like that design era, but quite clean. It's location in the centre of Zona Rosa is a big plus because the area just feels safe, and the nightlife, shopping and café culture is alive and well. It's also a nice sightseeing walk (one hour) from Zocalo so you are not far off at all if you chose this place. . Good location near Metro and many restaurant around . Near police station make u feeling safe when night time . Staff nice and helpful for travel advice. - Central - Very helpfull staff - Balcony - Good Bathtub, temperature and water pressure (even in the 15th floor). Hotel was clean, beds comfortable, and balconies were great. Good location,good breakfast .. Locacion and the look of building from outside. Arrived at 3.30pm to check in. A lobby full of other guests also waiting to check in because rooms were not ready. Very inconvenient after a 10 hours on a night bus and a 2 hour flight. Only two lifts in a 22 floor hotel which are very slow. The pool on the roof and the gym space are so small they might as well not be there. At check-in was not offered the Wi-FI code or given the safety box lock and had to get it later. The restaurant is quite dated. Air conditioning needs updating. Nothing, but the swimming pool is really for children as only 2 ft 6 in deep. Breakfast not included -we payed the $15 or whatever it was for he great buffet but would be better if it was included. In rush hour(3 PM) it does take a rather long time to get from the airport to the hotel. At 5 AM it's only 15 min. bath tub didnt plug properly, had to use a small round soap as plug, only gave one bottle of shampoo for both, one elevador was working, no real cable...tv channels were spotty at best. Hard bed. Closet a little small, took longer than expected to check in. No ice machine. The pool was very cold!. Neither did the cable or the wifi for the room we stayed in worked. This is an old hotel, so conditioners are noisy and hardly regulating, and seemed to be useless at nights. For the same reason, bath is not as comfortable as it might be. Service was questionable. For example, we had brought beer with us and asked for lots of ice (since they did not have a bar fridge). They said no problem when we checked in. Two calls after and 45 minutes later, a bellhop delivered a 'glass' of ice. It might fill 4 drinks. I asked more lots more ice!!! He said "no problem". He never returned. That's just one of the many little annoyances that made us realized this is not a great hotel...but not terrible either. The hotel being old not like the photo . Poor air conditioner noisy and low power even turn on. - Noisy area - Mattress in very bad condition - Air conditioner did not heat. Pool was out of service and that is why we chose this hotel. Also, as mentioned by many other reviewers, the AC did not work at all. It was blowing warmer air than that coming from outside. Small room .. not a very friendly lady at the reception. Room doors look old. And key too. Rooms need little maitenace.
