The hotel was absolutely outstanding. Every part of the hotel was exceptional. The staff were beyond helpful, the cleanliness was spectacular and the facilities at the hotel were superb. I would strongly recommend this hotel to anyone who is looking for class. By fsr the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Going forward I will now only consider jw mariotts for overseas accommodation. Great Hotel in good location, we had a fantastic suite with fabulous views. Good staff. Take the bus for $1 that runs every 5 minutes right outside the hotel to lots of great restaurants and shopping just up the road. Amazing beach a few steps away, excellent structure with great pools, gym and Spa, marvelous big rooms, which are always very clean. Amazing (though expensive) Breakfast buffet. A bit old-fashioned to ask money for wifi in the room 9,5/10. Like all big hotels everything extra over the room cost is very expensive and no tea of coffee in the rooms. Always have small bills at hand. Like anywhere in Cancun, the staff is always expecting to get tipped and they will show disappointment in case you run out of money for tips. nothing to dislike. Everything was SO expensive! Even the bottled water was ridiculous. At least one bottle should have been provided per day for the guests, I mean this is a "5 star resort." It would have been nice to have some more affordable options for meals. The reception staff could have been friendlier. The first time happen to me in Hotel the room cleaning service entered the my room at 10:30 PM while I am sleeping in bed with my wife , we were shocked the cleaning lady saying I am sorry , when I called to complain they said , you didn't put the don't disturb sign on the door , even though I checked in 4 PM the same day . a big question mark "?" no free water , usually for this value of hotel must offer some free stuff. no coffe maker internet the room not free. Some of the food but I think it was cause I am not used to it. To much wind and waves. Wifi reception. All was fine. Only one bed in room despite requesting two. Hotel charges for everything:coffee, wi fi, water.
