private room was clean and confortable. facilities are basic but more than adequate for a short stay. location is a short walk to shops and restaurants. communal tv area was a nice place to sit and get to know other guests. tea and coffee was available at all times for free. very clean and spacious rooms.. very good value for money, close to the main town and all facilities like restaurants, ATMs, etc..very homely atmosphere. helpful and friendly staff, main thing is very clean and spacious rooms.
all reviews » Beautiful house of 2 converted to room. Hot water and drink avail 24/7. Common lounge..make friends with others. Manager was polite and the place was fantastic clean. Near to shops( tanah rata behind maybank building). Clean rooms, nice and friendly staff. They help you with guided tours or jungle trails. Tea and coffee is offered for free. Everything in tana rata is in short distance. All in all great price/value ratio. Very nice location, and fun accommodation. The hotel has a cosy terrace and the host is very helpful (in his own Chinese way). The rooms are spacious. This place is really clean and tidy. The service also good not far from getting some food also nearby the tourist attraction. I like the nature surrounding, the night air was so relaxing and i feel comfortable while staying there. Clean and comfortable with helpful, welcoming staff. Good value for money. Friendly and helpful staff. Tea/coffee facilities. Comfortable communal area. Close to main street in Tanah Rata. the guest house locate at the quite place..the room was clean..friendly staff.. very close to town area, within 3 minutes walking distance. - quite environment - cleanliness up to our satisfaction. shower was cold. No fan or a/c in the room.anyway it was cool at night. The hotel is moist, with moisture stains on the ceiling and walls. But all in all its okay. The walls are thin, so take earplugs if you want to get a good nights sleep. Improve the access road to the hotel. Put a bis signboard at the main road because the hotel is behind other hotel. A bit too noisy in the evenings. Leaking plumbing in the bathroom. Wifi was very slow. Staff weren't very helpful. Quite pushy with their tours and saying you can't visit things by yourself which isn't true. Location is down a mud track with construction going on - would be useful to have some signs/directions to find it when first arriving. i think they need to improve the toilet attached in the room. its clean but not in a good condition. the person in charge in that guesthouse is very rude and unpolite when talking to guest. no smiling on his face. i feel bad mood when he answering my request or questions. our room was directly next to the reception, this gave noise and limited privacy. - basic facilities are lacking ( wardrobe, hook, chair, socket ) - no air-cond ( optional for nature air or a/cond ) - poor toilet facility ( more than simple ).
