Quietness, beautiful natural views, sunny sand beaches and many things make me missing this marvelous resort. If I have a choice to visit Langkawi Island again, I will not hesitate to stay at this hotel. The beach is simply great, the food in all restaurants is outstanding for a 3 star hotel. The staff is very efficient and everything runs smoothly in the resort. the staff were polite and helpfull . the food was good and varied. the pool was great. and with a 1 year old in tow all this makes life easier.

Beautiful beach and pool area in front of the door. 4 or 5 different Restaurants . Monkeys Giant Lizzards and Hornbill and many more animals all around. (not dangerous!). Excellent shuttle service from / to Chalets. Prices OK. I've been upgraded for the highr level of chalut (VIP on water) with the same price of on side water. styl of the hotel and the services. Although we had to change the room the first day we arrived because of the flood caused by broken pipes underneath the tiles! Some other minor tools do not work properly from time to time. Staff was friendly in all outlets around the hotel. Good Place because it's behaind the sea, and beuteful veiw. uncomfort at all. They upgraded me for free because i complained about the room. reserved king bed and they put me in a room with twin beds. The area is nice. Nothing, the service is very bad and the rooms are full of all sorts of bugs. This is not a five star hotel, barely a 3 star. I would not recommend it to anyone. We previously stayed in many other hotels amidst rainforests but never had any issues.Nothing.it is a 3 star not a 5 star hotel. One thing was bothering me during my stay which is that I have to park my car on the parking area and go the lobby to take a shuttle to my chalet. The reason of that is to ensure the quietness and cleanness. However, sometime after shopping I got many things to carry!!!!. they should have a small pharmacy, rabic resturant, because the hotel is fare away from the city. food spread for dinner in ala carte menu was limited. Room furniture and bathroom outdated. Needs to be renovated although functionality is OK. Only thing that needs a little improvement. The deep tissue message was hard, I 've got some pain from it.i think need to take care abut some insect. We were given Hair Shampoo and Bath Gel on the 1st Day, but Hair Shampoo and Body Lotion the 2nd day...Some of the houses are scairy,you can see monkes,lezards,sneaks aroundyou.remiends me of Adams family. We could not swim comfortably at the sea due to jellyfishes from thebeach of this otel and there is no club nearby and inside the otel.the resturant food and limited choices was our biggest challenge,. The balconey door was not closing properly and they failed to repair it. The Chalet was on the sea and the hight wind was leaking and scare us during sleep time.Rooms needs to be refurbished. Lack of fruits and sqeezed juices. Barmen should be properly trained. Do not book any tours from the private dealers to whom the entrance is open free. We had serious incident in which the security manager andfront office manager was unpleasantly involved. but the air condition is bad because it's hot .. and the shullete is so slowly to came to our place. There is a lot of monkeys and lizards and there is no Internet in rooms . the deluxe room is not worth it. pay a bit more to stay in premier - it's a huge quality difference.shuttle bus we wait not less than 20 to 40 minutes to come and the distance is so long to walk to the beach or restaurants. smelly and mouisture room, unfriendly staff in restaurant( for breakfast). First chalet noisy changed to individual chalet - smelly. Restaurant service levels very varied. Urgently needs a re-vamp and attention. One call centre hopeless and documentation out of date eg Japanese Restaurant closed on Mondays ( nobody apparently knew ). We had to check out in the middle of the night due to extensive bed flees and bugs.I did not liked anything and shifted to meriatius pelangi beach which isa true 5 star hotel.

Berjaya Langkawi Resort provides an open-air tropical spa, offering a range of beauty treatments for your relaxation. For meetings, conferences, seminars and banquets, the Matsirat ballroom and 8 other meeting rooms offer a complete range of modern facilities to accommodate your needs and requirements. The ballroom, located on the ground floor, can accommodate a maximum capacity of 1,000 people in cocktail style and 700 people in theatre seating. In addition, the other rooms can seat groups of 15 to a maximum of 90 people. With a fully equipped business centre offering secretarial assistance, photocopying, faxing, internet access and much more, business is truly a pleasure. Theme parties and team development programmes are available upon request.

Important information to guests

Beginning 1 July 2016, as directed by the Langkawi Municipal Council, a local government Tourism Promotion Fee would be applicable per room per night. A tourist tax of MYR 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
