The reception is very friendly, help to arrange the tour in the town and explain the best food of Malacca. The hotel is very clean and tidy in all the places. Even use the public shower room, I don't feel anything not comfortable. The location is just at the center of the tourism place, all the places are by walking distance. Security is good; Roomy enough; no view out of room but it doesn't feel claustrophobic as they do have a window (which opened out to common corridor but kept closed); Well equipped kitchen facilities; Great location, minutes to shopping and all major attractions.

She saw us look tried and wet so she offer towel for us , take a bath before we go out. Thank for your kindness. The location was great - right along the river and close to all the heritage sites. Back gate should not be locked before 12 a.m. Hotel position is wonderful, just one step away from Melaka river. It have some people ring a bell middle of the night, make me wake up_q'. The room smelled like mothballs when we first opened the door but after turning the fan and ac on, the smell (kind of) went away. The bathroom is a little small but for the price per night, it was definitely manageable. Nothing. Only one thing; the fountain in the lobby (coomon area) was running all night long... No TV, washing room is kind of small and wet. Nothing. There is nothing I didn´t like. nothing...all is good....... None. toilet outside the room... Nothing. No thing. Many rooms only have window to the floor, but that's probably quite common in melacca. Nothing. None. Rooms were quite simple and some of them had windows facing the hallway. When I asked how to get to the Palace, the staff said "There's a palace??". N/a. The room is a little bit small. Not enough windows in bedrooms. no tv inside room. Not even a light breakfast. nothing. noise: when people walking around, even in the room can still feel the sound. i wish we have our own attached bathroom. You'd better to confirm if there is windows in the room before your order, small space in the room only for sleep. Very small room and too expensive for what you get. No drinking water, no fridge, no furniture, horrible old soaps left behind, no external window, dead mosquito marks around the white walls. There was no breakfasts provided. Next door was Riverine Coffee House to have food by the river. The waitress there was very rude to customers, food awful and we had to get the bill fixed twice due to overcharging. Definatly avoid this cafe!.
