Beautifully designed and a truly delightful environment to hang out in. Luxurious but unique rather than usual mass-produced hotels. Modern tasteful Indiana Jones! Staff very friendly and helpful eg. Booking tours, preparing a special vegetarian dinner, welcoming iced tea and cloths. The location is perfect -central and on the street next to the river with it's waterfront walkway. all reviews » We came for one night and stayed for almost a week. A truly comfortable, lovely hotel. It's a on a pricey side, but this was our splurge for the trip. Rooms are excellent, clean and comfortable, breakfast delicious, and it's very convenient to Kuching town centre and bus stops for day trips to Bako, Mount Santubong, etc. Dinners were yummy, too. The staff were very helpful in arranging transport and taxis. Highly recommend this!. The position of the rannee is just perfect right on the waterfront by the river. The rooms are spacious, clean andcomfortable. Its very quiete........The staff are very helpful and friendly. I highly recommend it and would happily return. The aircon was not working on the 2nd night of stay in the middle of the night. We were told that the whole of ground and 1st level air conditioning was faulty. The staff managed to rectify the problem by giving me and my friend another room on the 2nd flr for the night. Breakfast is still improving. Breakfast is not up to the standards of the place like in most hotels in Borneo. Industrial bread and jam, no fresh juices, etc. Limited cable tv channels. our room was noisy 105. Rooms towards the street was cery noisy during the night. Pack some ear plugs. Don't know what the 5 stars signify, expected a pool and a restaurant. There's nothing I didn't like. paid for upgrade from standard room as it faces on to the main road, the upgrade room was dark and smelled damp. definitly not a luxury hotel very noisy no views/windows. poor restaurant / no food options in the hotel.
