The hotel is convientally located, for the unwary it may feel it is in a "dodgy" area but we ate in one of the local cafes and we were made to feel most welcome and cost us £3.80 for a 2 course meal with soft drinks!! The hotel is clean and all the staff are friendly I would recomend this hotel to family and friends and good value. The pool area is great. The breakfast buffet was amazing, so many different things and they baked croissants and pastries right at the buffet. Also, the hotel room was sheik, and modern. Also very clean.

Although the pool is small but it is not crowded. Overall we are satisfied.We enjoy the atmosphere of our room, the feeling of harmony. It's a great choice for those who are non-smooker. A fruit basket came with our room, they forgot to give it to us. I asked the next morning a few times, and finally when checking out a lady gave us some fruit to take with us. Wasn't really a big deal but they should follow through with things properly.The hotel site has no shopping complex nearby or within the hotel. It would be much appreciated if you could produce tourist guide booklet to all customers in the hotels' rooms. wifi internet was free on our level (7th), but reception was sporadic, possibly because of the thickness of the soundproofed walls.. to get a reliable reception we had to stand in the corridors... buffet breakfast was comprehensive, but breads etc were not always very fresh.The parking lots are limited. Taxi booking for hotel guests. Calling of taxis for the guest seems to be not up to the standard as I tried both times to get the hotel staff to help me call for taxi and ended up I have to go out to the main road to flag myself. I belive taxi booking is important to all guests. As we are all foreign to the country, it might not be convenient to communicate with the taxi driver.fridge did not work. Enough choice of food and beverages in the restaurant.Location. Taxi drivers out the front are feral-will not accept no for an answer-they will follow you hustling for business.The hotel has 2 notices: 'recommend you use our taxi services' and 'metered taxis'.They WILL NOT use the meters.I believe staff 'tip off'' the drivers as to where you are going, checkout times, airport requirements etc.. The drivers are detrimental to such a wonderful hotel. I await the response from the resident manager on this issue, as he has replied to other postings.Little bit off the main track, if your're not keen trekker you rather need taxi or KL Monorail (10 mins walk from the hotel) to join main KL attractions but still is not something that would disqualify the hotel as everything not so far away, iut's just few minutes. Would have appreciated a newsnet (BBC or CNN) at the room TV.Level of english-speaking of staff is not very good. The hotel really should provide the client with a better map of the city. lots of women parading near the hotel main street (if you know wht I mean). spoils the image of the hotel.The wil-fi, which was very imkportant to me was very slow for one ofthe days .. almost moved hotels as a result, but then they reset and itgot fixed. Some of the immediate surrounding area were a bit of an eye opener, however you need to embrace it KL is like most hot cities. Used local barber, v.good and cheap. Nice Asian eating house in same block and chinese place across road from entrance on the back for a pint!. poor transportation, not convenience with other public transport. outside hotel is a bit dirty. We assumed that since we were upgraded we were able to use the executivelounge, but were told on the second day that we couldn't due to the factthat we had only booked a superior room initially. What a shame! Itnegated all the good will of the upgrade, and left us with unhappyfeelings about our stay. Please change your rules to ensure an upgradeentitles the guest to all the benefits!. Taxi searching and park (if raining, it's not so convenience to lobby entrance). The breakfast buffet had a fairly good selection but was cold both days of stay. Real fruit juice (not cordial) and freshly brewed coffee at breakfast would be nice. The water is not very clean as it is in yellow color from the shower tap, should have filter to ensure the cleaness of the water.Parking area ( security ). the location was abit far from the LRT and the main entrance was actually facing the resident houses, instead of the main road, which might be quite dangerous at night as it quite quiet...There's not much variety of food for breakfast. unfortunately no seperated spa for woman and man. Not enough channels on tv. 1 toiletpaper not enough.none at the moment. Cold breakfast, very little food/drink breakfast choices available. Surrounding streets a bit annoying ( sort of red light area). neighborhood. The hotel's approach road is not very good,althought the hotel is located quite centrally and is walking distance fm malls and LRT stations. also the breakfast menu was very local oriented and did not cater to international tastes.Rudeness of reception staff (to us young couple?). They were also clueless about the metro station nearby when there is the Sultan Ismael one 5 minutes walk away. Bathroom somehow looks older than the bright bedroom.
