Decorated with wooden furnishings, the spacious air-conditioned rooms at Magellan Sutera feature large glass doors opening up to a private balcony. Each comes with a cable/satellite TV with international channels including Chinese channels, minibar, tea/coffee/Chinese tea-making facilities, and a modern bathroom with bathtub. Free toiletries and slippers are included. Guests can exercise at the fitness centre, watch movies at the mini cinema or enjoy a game of bowling at the hotel's bowling alley. A private stretch of white sandy beach is also available for guests' usage. Five Sails Restaurant serves a selection of breakfast and dinner buffets with unlimited flow of sparkling wine. Excellent facilities, good location and value for money. location and staff.The location was good. Although Shangri La Tanjung Aru would have been just as good on hind sight. Regretted choosing Sutera Harbour. Upon arrival the first room needed refurbishing. Shower broken, cupboard broken carpet dirty and in need of repair. No lounge chair. Dusty shelving. Totally unacceptable for 5star rating. After complaint upgraded to suite...very high standard and made the stay complete. Hotel in need of money spent on it but location is excellent. Some Airport noise.

Please inform The Magellan Sutera of your expected arrival time at least 24 hours in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Please note that details of a valid credit card are required at the time of reservation to guarantee the booking. Credit card used to guarantee the booking must belong to the guest checking in. Guests checking in must be 21 years old and above. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A tourist tax of RM 10 per room per night is applied to all foreign guests. This tax is not included in the room rate and must be paid upon check-in. Guests with a valid Malaysian Identity Card or valid permanent residents MY PR Card are exempted.
