Excellent hotel! The room was very comfortable and cosy. The bed was the best one during my whole 3 weeks holiday in Malaysia. The location was good, short walk to the center of the town. The staff does not speak english very well, but they are all friendly and very positive and that makes a very nice atmosphere in this place. this is the first time i step in to kelantan...and i'm a bit surprise to find kelantan is so great.. not so left behind compared with other state...i love this hotel cos it so cozy n comfortable...make me feel like at home...
all reviews » This is my 3rd time stay at habib hotel, we like the staff they r friendly, when we found out our room was smell and they change it to us immediately, hope they can keep their performance like this , Majority ok. Clean, confortable and spacious room. Great location and helpfull staff. Very enjoyable stay. The location of the hotel- walking distance to the bus stand, stadium and restaurants. Nice, clean budget place to stay for a few nights on the way to malaysian islands. The reception staff were really cheerful and helpful. The location is central. The hotel is comfortable the bathroom are clean. Not much channel to watch. located walking distance from banks, government buildings and stadium. Give regular customer more privelage and discount. For dinner we tried the Rammadan buffet and it was a big disappointment. Though, breakfast was decent. No car parking. Very difficult to local people who travel with car. The room didn't have any soap or loo paper when we arrived, and no bedside lamps. I found the conferter are a bit dirty. Window are to small. No wifi in room but available downstairs. Restaurant's staff are not following Hotel sop like laughing laud while other customers are having their meal. They don't respect guess and need trainin. No fridge! The room got extremely hot during the day and the aircon was working hard to cool it down. Aircon was positioned to blow right to the bed and it gets uncomfortably cold, but then if you turn it off the room gets immediately hot again. I guess it comes with the climate. The breakfast was ok, but does not cater much to western tourists, not to mention vegetarians. Only vegetarian option was toast, the rice had chicken pieces in it. Not a complaint, but a warning to non-locals. Our flight back to KL was at 7pm & since we have to check out by 12 noon without allowing extended check-out time (apparently the hotel was runnng full on 24/6), we left our luggage with the reception and proceeded with our tour in KB town. By the time we returned, we were all sweaty and tired. It would be great if the Ground Floor is equipped with a bathroom for guests to freshen up before they leave. Breakfast - no choice and strange to have broccoli and cauliflower first thing in morning!. No parking spot available. Had to park on city's parking space (had to pay about RM 10 for a full day park - and the machine only accept coins). Smelly bathroom - I have to open the toilet window for ventilation. Advise by front desk to park & pay at public parking lots when 1 VIP lot occupied. Should be hassle free parking especially for far distance traveller. Bed sheets and linen, although clean, had many strange spots. Room was very small..television signals was very bad..air conditioner was very poor (not cool) please service.no fridge. Small lift and no free parking for guest..I don't want to stay at this hotel anymore..
