The setting and design of the hotel situated on a hill overlooking the beach, located about a 30 minute drive from the Casino action makes a quiet retreat. The breakfast allowed lots of choice to satisfy various appetites. I love it when it's so far away from city, noises and people. The view is awesome. I thought I was in Europe. Staff are very kind and helpful indeed. The rooms are clean. Nicely folded beddings. Tasty English breakfast.

The restaurant opens on to a large terrace with an excellent view of the sea. quiet,friendly,away from the hustle of downtown great beach and ocean views. I like it quiet place with a good weather. environment and deco are good. The room was nicely decorated, and the view from the room was great. The roof terrace was lovely and relaxing with a great view and a nice breeze. Also, the swimming pool was great!. It was beautiful antique hotel ever, and reasonable price for 2 persons (even i stayed alone) and nice BGM which was gentle sound of waves lapping when sleep. The Portugese style in decor and food that is the original colours of Macau. The jacuzzi style bathtub is wonderful, however, no hope for a warm/hot bath. Liked the rooms and the jacuzi, enjoyed the balcony and the patio. The Port wine was fairly good. Room & bathroom's decoration, especially the big bathtub. Sea view, Quiet area, Porutukal style, Eco-friendly. It is in a reasonably peaceful location and the hotel has a lot of potential. Good views. Location. The morning coffee was just okay. (Instant or tasted like it). Wi-Fi in the room please. The breakfast was too simple. Also, at our first arrival we encountered a lot of stairs with nobody helping us carry our luggage. Rooms are a bit tired and in need of a bit of TLC Corridors smell a bit damp. Hotel is dated and in need up a refurb. Very relaxing and comfortable though if you're looking for luxury modern comfort this might not be your place. The wifi on first floor is not working well. If you bring work with you when traveling , better stay in rooms in the 2nd floor. -Accessibility -quality of concierge -the dogs... -. i could listen ppl talking by next door. breakfast was practically inexistant, whirlpool didnt work properly and was dirty. The beach was filthy! Wifi didn't work in my room (109) It had a musty smell in the corridor. Found some small bugs around light switch and there have got smells like mold.. No free Wi-FI in public areas only in rooms. Wi-Fi was not very stable. Water was lukewarmly cold. Half of the sunbeds was broke. Provision of a spa facility and services would be perfect for woman and couple visitors. They have changed the management and i didnt enjoy as much this tiome. The breakfast was horrible!!! and the staff wasnt as nice! The srvice wasnt as good either. The reception area is just too small and difficult to locate. Active mosquito. There was mould all over the jacuzzi which didn't work. There was black mould all over the walls behind the curtains and clear evidence of water penetration on the wall. Breakfast food items were not replenished regularly. The pool was covered in leaves and other debris. Taxis are difficult to obtain at midday. Bathroom flooded - purposely gave us defective last room. Staff are apathetic. Jacuzzi doesn't work.
