We stayed at the Memel Hotel twice, with a break of two nights in between. The first night our room was adequate but we found the bed soft with uncomfortable pillows. The second time 3 nights later we had a much nicer room with a very comfortable bed. The buffet breakfast is suburb with a great selection. The lovely lady on the front desk helped us hire a car and remembered us on our return and where we had been. Over all it was an enjoyable stay.
all reviews » Cozy hotel in the heart of Klaipeda. Location is excelent, you can reach old town just in 5 minutes by foot. Hotel is clean, staff very helpfull. Was in rooms little bit cold, but staff offered heater so it does no mind at all. In corridor smells very strongly from the kitchen - presumably at poor ventilation. Rooms haven't refrigerator. Too short a stay. One morning breakfast room was too full. The reception has no hall at all. So it can be crowded when a lot of guests coming simultaneously. Maybe a wardrobe would be more appropriate in the room, however the shelves were ok as well. there were not enough parking spaces for some nights. Shower equipment is not comfortable enough (just the head shower - not good if you want just to wash your feet). Our room was next to the door, which closed quite loudly. Lack of fitness room, 8 Am breakfasst on weekends, lack of english channels. It was a bit noisy in the room facing the street because of the nearby construction site. Can´ t think of anything.
