Yet again the hotel proved its outstanding quality. The manager recognised me from a previous stay and kindly upgraded my room to business class suite which was amazing. All the staff are attentive, polite and do the hotel proud! Thankyou for a great stay!. The hotel is quiet and comfortable, it's close to everything in Beirut, the staff are friendly and helpful, the management is expert and professional. Rooms are big, clean, well furneched and big beds. Actually it's the best choice for its value.

The most what I liked about the hotel is the central location within Beirut Business District. THe staff were very friendly. Situation of this hotel. Location marvelous . It's location. No negative whatsoever!. Some buildings are coming up close to the hotel covering a part of the sea view but it's not really annoying. Breakfast paid seperatly ($16) and not worth it. No view. Some towels and curtains are old and need to be changed. Maybe the hotel management is hesitant to invest in renewing these things because of the lack of tourists currently in Lebanon. Finding the hotel was hard do to surrounding construction. The building work next door was very noisy. They offer free wifi in the lobby,however in room its realy too costly. When I was checking out, they showed me something that said the charge was reversed but then the printer was not working and the taxi was waiting and when I checked the bill later they had left the charge on and charged my credit card. Susan Joachim. Hotel surrounded by construction. Also very humid in the rooms with poor ventilation, thus it always smelled like smoke (even in non-smoking room). There was no room service after midnight, no Gym! And there is a lot of construction sites right next to the hotel so the noise was unbearable. Tv channel list needs improvment. I dont like the noise comes from building under constrction beside the hotel in rest time. Internet in rooms. Although it worked, it was a rip-off, $55 a day and still cut off after 1 day. In Beirut one should always go for hotels with free internet. some construction work going on around buildings, no view. Hotel in middle of a building site. Hotel makes you pay for parking. Bar very expensive for what it is. Cheaper in bar 2 mins round the corner. TV channels set up for arabs not europeans. Poor sports coverage. Few options in terms of food. The rooms in general; - the filthy looking carpets - the uncomfortable beds - the room wall colours and curtains are dark and depressing - the unavalability of alternative electricity plugs in the rooms - the terrible TV channel selection and the quality of the actual channels - the lighting in the toilets - minibar item selection. Noise near construction site. No free wi-fi in the rooms and regular wi-fi was very expensive. Adjacent constructi. Surrounded by building works Very Very Noisy and dusty!!. no view, near construction site of other hotel. Very Noisy, the hotel is surrounded with construction from all sides. Very old hotel, Dull interiors, Dirty carpets, cramped lifts, construction view, dirty balcony, no chairs on the balcony.... The property needs urgent renovation. The rooms cleanliness and mainly the carpets is in awful situation. The F&B needs serious work. Breakfast is repeated daily the exact same and some items are not cooked to satndards. I found a live cockroach in my bed, their idea of cleaning a room is making beds, it is filthy, the salad for breakfast wasn't even washed, it is just next to a construction site where the other workers can actually use the room with us! I cannot express how disappointed i was, if it wasn't so short a stay i would have moved out!. Lot of work around this hotel during my stay. The fact that completely all around Is serious construction work . My view from suite on the 9 th floor was completely into a 15 story construction shell abandoned . A little depressing . Very small , employees are not professional ,.
