  We loved the coziness of the place, plus the fact that our dogs were able to come with us.   The owner was very friendly and most helpful in every respect even telephoning a reservation for us in an excellent restaurant in the town. Our young daughter was accommodated in a seperate bed and without charge. And, the garden was wonderful to sit out in over breakfast which was really tasty. Overall, the positives far outweighed the negatives ... what people say » and would have no hesitation in recommending to other potential guests. - We stayed for four nights at Pulkvedis in a clean double-bed room and our stay was memorable due to the kindness and hospitality of Juris and Anita. There is also a large garden and Sauna. There is a fine walk along the Venta riverbank only five minutes' walk from the guesthouse.

  Very nice place, near Ventspils, but not in the city - excelent for traveller with a car :) Very quite with much beautiful nature, not far from the seaside. Friendly staff ready to help you with any problem. Not big, but very nice rooms. Big area in the nature. I will advice this place to my friends.
