Everything was exellent. Clean,quiet, cosy rooms, friendly staff,the girl at the reception gave us the map of the town and advice where to go to see the most interesting places. Very good location, you can reach the bobsleigh track on foot (10 min.) and try a bobsleigh ride (about 1450 m) at weekends. Turaida castle (13-th century)is 5km from hotel.Tarzan amusement park for kids and adults is a real challenge for eveyone - 2 km from the hotel.Beach is over the road from the park.Breathtaking vi.
all reviews » Very good room, very clean and there is verything you need during the travel (soap, towels, refrigirator, tv, electric kettle, tea ect.)! Very good offer of services (laundries and sewing if needed, transfer ect.) Excelent kitcher, breakfast very delicious and good choice of food. And you can have nice dinner at the same cafeteria with 10% discount given from the hotel!. I went to Sigulda to see the musical performance of famous Tunician misician. I stayed in 'Pils' Hotel and this hotel left good inpressions. Very friendly staff speaks in Latvian, Russian and English. Good home breakfast including in room price was defersified. Clean comfortable hotel, 200 metres from railway and bus stations. Quiet area, except for occasional noisy motorist. Good buffet breakfast. Also several restaurants/cafes nearby. Sigulda has two old castles and lovely country walks in the hilly area. Friendly and helpful staff; interior of the hotel is really great; room with air-conditioner, free wi-fi, comfortable bed and other features; delicious breakfast with really lovely coffee and natural juices and so on. Nice little hotel, right in the centre of town. Friendly people, good food. The theme of the hotel is knights, which is well shown in the little details... It we'a a great place we spent 2 nights here and explored the castles around from here. It's a great place to stay, breakfast was great both mornings. The hotel is very nice and the staff is professional and polite. The room was spacious and clean, the bed very comfortable. The only thing was that we didn't realise we had to book at the resteraunt attached to the hotel in order to eat there. The hotel has no elevator. The breakfast is rich in savory products but low in sweets. No Sauna/ SPA Limited cable TV Channels. The first room which they offered us was very, very small and uncomfortable. - breakfast is included (very simple), better coosing another location to have breakfast. No elevator. The breakfast was not the best one. nothing. This was a secret deal offer so we expected to be placed in the hotel's worst room! We weren't disappointed - this was a very small room indeed taken up almost entirely by the bed. We're seasoned travellers so weren't too bothered but you have to question whether an alleged 3-star hotel should be renting out a room quite as small as this. Tiny room, mediocre breakfast, bathroom is not cleaned properly on regular basis. Not a value for money. Strong bad smel when I get into the room, I have to open the window for two hours in the cold wheather to fresh it. The Breakfast is poor.
