Excellent location for sightseeing. Highly recommend the Konventa Seta to anyone looking for "something different" in accommodation. Room and Hotel very clean and staff very helpful. Rooms were nice and aspacious.The suite was very nice for European hotels. Much larger that what I expected. The hotel was convenient for the old city.The location is sensational, right amongst everyhting, but also quiet at night.

My question on the ordering format regarding the parking procedure was not answered. It was finally no problem after contacting Konventa Seta to get all information and the parking key in Hotel de Rome. there was no heat in the guest rooms; other spaces in the hotel were so warm that it was uncomfortable. To drive with car to hotel is very difficult. The information haw tofind the hotel in the web site is not true. shower-no bathinternet promised but unobtainable-major irritiant. No tea/coffee making facility in the rooms. Unfortunately the room had two separate beds in stead of one double bed. Although it was possible to open the windows, it was difficult to let some fresh air in. The bed sheets were old and dirty. noisy room. We had booked a double room but were given a twin. Reception were very off hand - basically take it or leave it! As genereal comment staff not particularly friendly (then again nearly all service we encountered in Latvia was the same!). Facilities basic for a 3 star hotel. No phone, min-bar and TV was very small. I could not use the deadlock in my room either. The room was cold even with the heating on full.Lack of constant hot water.
