Good location, nice clean room, it was qwaiet enough, good breacfast. And it was not so heard to go upstears. I get my room very early, WI-Fi in rooms (need just to ask password on reception). There are supermarkets and cafe like Lido, stop of the tram 11 to the zoo on the next street. Room was worm (just to turn on the heater). Small nice hotel located close to central and historical part of city and good transportation with convenient, very clean facilities and excellent friendly staff. The hotel is located about 10 mins walk from the Old Town, rather centrally, no need to take any public transport. It is very quiet, clean and has modest conveniences you need. Definitely a great value for money!. I travelled with a dog, everything was perfect. The room was ok. Had an strange smell at the beginning but it got better. After 8.30 A.M. for some people it was hard to find place to sit down with their plates. Towels was rough. - There is no good light in the room, there's a large windows so it's no problem in the day. as I used the room only for sleeping it was OK for me. - Strange smell in the shower (from the drain), this is a bit disturbing. -the rooms are on the 3rd or 4th floor and it is pretty hard to carry your luggage since there is no elevator. Although I was a solo traveller, I had asked for a double room but was allocated a room with three separate beds... It was not a problem for me, however, I would not have been impressed if I had travelled with my other half. I am of the view hotels should always check this with the guest before making deliberate decisions like this. No elevator (4th floor). entrance and staircase not so pleasant. One of the wifi vouchers didņ't worked out.. wake up for a Breakfast at 9:30 due to amount of guests staff could not manage to wash forks and spoons, and keep an eye on empty coffee thermos, etc... the only thing is they do not have elevator, for those with heavy bags that could be a problem probably. No elevator, it was very hard to take the luggage to the 4 floor. Bath room/WC have not ventilation,. you have to go upstairs three or four floors to your room. TV set with too sophisticated or simply non-proper for hotels remote control system, set in Lithuanian language only on screen. No lift. There was a problem with wi-fi in the room. It was necessary to come out into the corridor or even go downstair to get a good signal. Receptionist could not help us by taking care of sending our postcards, because she didn't know which stamps should she buy and how much they cost. I believe that such service is very common among hotels and should be provided. The hallways are in need of a makeover. Climbing 4 floors to your room is not fun. It is not the Ritz (no elevator), paper-thin walls. Breakfast was a little poor and it is not actually very clear how you enter the hotel (reception is through a tunnel, through doors and up stairs without any signs to direct). it is 15 mintues to the old town, it is quite far away. Uncomfortable to get to this hotel by walk! Very far from the old city. Its hard to up on 4th floor with baggage!. It showed free rooms at letsbookhotel.com but they told me they were full (which was probably true). Smell in the room from toilet, mechanical fan not working in toilet. Air condition not working well. The staff was absolutely unhelpful. I asked about laundry service, and the answer was an emphatic no. So I asked if they knew where I might do laundry. No. Perhaps in old town. What they should have known is that there is a laundry service less then two blocks away. But they don't give a damn. On the wall in the foyer there are sayings like "we do family, we do fun...yada yada." They should amend that to read " we do not help you in any way, just take your money.". coridors, entrance, a bit oldy. hot water supply in the morning. Wifi didn't work except in the lobby. Air conditioner operated ineffectively. There were problems with cooling. Noisy at night.
