  the staff was friendly and helpfull, when we needed to go to town the shuttle was always ready for us, we could also take bikes and would be in the market in 5 min.   This is a lovely hotel. The staff are very sweet and professional. I was greeted with a welcome drink and a delicious cut up mango, both creatively displayed. The layout of the grounds is well engineered with a terrace for breakfast/ hanging out that overlooks the pool and the gardens. A nice stroll through the hotel gardens takes you to the bank... what people say » of the river. The pool is very refreshing after hot days meandering around on foot or (free) bikes. My room was well designed and styled with a relax - We loved the location. It was very peaceful nestled in off one of the local streets on the oposite side of the river from the town. It was an easy walk into town across the bamboo bridge and equally fun to ride around on the hotel bikes. The shuttle service was well run ie airport pick ups and drop offs and regular service into town and back to the hotel in the evening.   Spent 2nights at this lovely hotel which was run by the friendly, warm-hearted Mother (Deang) and her son (Paul). We booked their Deluxe Double (room 324 & 327) which came with a nice double bed, jacuzzi, free Wifi (avaiable inside room and dining area only) a LCD tv with warm homely decorations. I celebrated my birthday here and so my boyfriend arranged a surprise with the utmost cooperation and help of the Maison Dalabua team, especially of Ms. Marion who had been very accommodating and hands-on from the very start. Request for a room with a pond - The manager Rudy and his wife Marian were always there and very helpful. The lobby of the hotel opens onto a beautiful pond of white and pink lillies and our room was first class. The staff is very good and attentive. Also, the hotel loaned us bicycles which made our touring around the city of Luang Prabang easy and pleasant. I'd recommend this hotel to anyone.
