Excellent service from female front desk staff who speak & understand English very well. They could provide written & clear oral directions for using the subway & bus to get to places we wanted to visit each day--even all the way to the Yongin Korean Folk Village. One young lady also answered all of our requests for restaurant recommendations by noting down all information on a map & showed us the routes to take. all reviews » We stayed for 3 nights from 28 to 30 Nov and then went on a land tour. We came back to stay one more night on 7 Dec. We were able to leave some of our luggage at the hotel. The location is ideal and the staff were very friendly and helpful, especially with our reservations for restaurants since we do not speak Korean. One staff member even helped us move our luggage to the taxi when leaving for the airport. Hotel is in the heart of Myeongdong. Lots of foods and shopping around. Hands full of shopping bags can go back hotel and put, then shop again. No problem finding foods. Near to Myeongdong subway exit no.8 By turning left from the entrance to the main road then turn left and you can see the subway entrance. Less than 3 mins walk only. We (2 adults + 1 four years old kid) stayed there 5 nights at family room, the room size is very reasonable as a city businese hotel, everything was so user friendly and the 2 beds were pretty comfy, the cleaning standard was gd too. We needed to send urgent faxes to Hong Kong and the staff was so helpful and no charge of the long distance faxes. Location is 5 minutes better than skypark; more shopping friendly than metro hotel which is more food friendly. From here you can cover myeondong, namdaemon, lotte duty free by foot. U don't get bottled complimentary water everyday but you can always top up at level 11 lounge. They should have anti static tags at the lift lobby n room doors.
