The hotel is budget friendly and is within walking distance to shopping, night-life, the subway, and tourist attractions. It is in a safe area and easy to navigate. I would recommend it to any traveler. The hotel itself is older and the furnishings and fixtures are dated. However, everything was clean and functioning. The bathroom was typical of most Asian countries with the drain on the floor. As such, it was wet and slippers (provided) were needed. Overall, I had a good stay and plan to go ba.
all reviews » Hotel is right in the heart of the city. Step out the front door and you are in a bustling area of downtown Busan. Despite the cacophony of sound outside, the hotel itself is quite serene. Room was spacious and clean. All toiletries provided. If I travel to Busan again, I will check if there are any vacancies here first. Helpful and friendly although not very polite lady in the reception (or perhaps it's just her way of communicating). She booked a temple stay for us and even let us use the PC in the reception. Free breakfast is very basic, but better than nothing. Room was normal size and quite cozy, although.. Traffic is very easy. 8-minute walk to MRT. The Starbucks cafe is located in front of this restaurant. Also there are many shops around there. The neighborhood is kind of Miandong in Seoul. I like the ondol room very much. We arrived a bit earlier and was so tired, the room that we have order was not ready, but the staff was very friendly that provide us a choice to pay some extras to upgrade to another room, so far the stay was pleasant. The location was great. Basically a shoppers haven. And no worries to find food.. It's practically restaurant at most street. Simple breakfast (toast bread and coffe/juice) to get you start the day. Breakfast is a piece of toast & jam which you make yourself in toasters in the lobby with basic coffee, which you have to take up to your room to consume. The advertised breakfast was poor. It consisted of toast and coffee. And you had to make the toast yourself. In the splurge it said free computer. There was no computer. ...quite dark, as the window was facing a wall. Bathroom is quite big, but after taking the shower becomes all wet, because there is no drain in the shower and the water has to flow all the way to the sink. Although breakfast is provided, it is just toasts with jam, one coffee from coffee maker, and juices from bottled juice. The area near the hotel is a bit dirty....We can see a lot of rubbish outside the restaurant ....and mice too =.=. The small bath towel which is the same size as the face towel. The bathroom is a bit small. Not sure if it is by design, the water of the bath tub drains via the floor to another side of the bathroom. I specified that I wanted a non-smoking room but there was a really bad smeel when I arrived. Also don't expect so much from the breakfast but it's better than nothing!. The staff is polite but not friendly. Difficult to talk to the staff due to language barrier. Lost our way to an important activity cuz the staff gave the cab driver the wrong direction. The bathroom is too wet after using the tub/shower. They have to fix the spout connected to the tub. It's very difficult to find the hotel so we just took a taxi from Busan sation. We stayed on fifth floor but there were no outside view from the window. It was wall. A bit of old furniture smell. - Old fashioned hotel - Small bathroom - Bathroom gets completely wet after taking a shower (fluid!) - No window in bathroom - Smelly bathroom in the evening (it smells like fried fish!) - Very small towels - Wifi was terrible - Elevator closes VERY fast. Hotel arguably in a party area which didn't really suit our trip needs but windows did a good job of blocking out street noise. Walls between rooms pretty thin BUT this seems to be the norm in Korean Hotels. The included "breakfast" was just orange juice, coffee, and toast that you take back to your room. The mini-fridge in my room had been leaking for a long, long time - long enough that the wooden cabinet legs had swelled from the constant dripping and had started to form a nice layer of mold. Room a pit small. Staff is not that good in English, but they understand what we say..:). breakfast,if you can call it that!!! Worst I have ever seen!!!. Wifi signal was weak and internet connection is not good. Very old and smelly. We requested 2 non-smoking rooms but there was none. The whole hotel smelled like a smoking joint. The elevator closes too fast. Breakfast consists of white toast, weak black coffee and OJ in a hall way in the lobby. Dirty floor of elevator and rest room near lobby. The internet connection in my room (8th floor) is very slow. Have to remind front desk many times about poor wifi connection. Basic breakfast & basic room. Hotel breakfasts are about $10 so f you want to compare you need to add $10 onto Angel's price. Rooms stale and moldy and smell of insect spray. Furniture very very tired and bathrooms have seen better days.
