This was my first visit to amman with some relatives, it was a four day short break at the millennium hotel, frankly I didn't know what to expect at the beginning from the hotel although I did a lot of research before choosing it, but after reading multiple reviews I ended up picking the millennium because it looked very tempting since it was brand new, very modern, beautifully furnished with quite excellent reviews from other travelers! I must say I am very glad for choosing this hotel because.
all reviews » we had travelled to Jordan to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary & the last leg of our trip was wo stay at this hotel. We got there quite late at night and the hotel was fully booked. It seems there was an error with our booking that showed there was no room that could accommodate us. Saleem Rabieh is an exceptional member of the team who went out of his way to resolve this problem. He demonstrated perfect hotel management by resolving the issue and upgrading us to one of the most amaz. What a wonderful hotel!!! Perfect Location, I got such a great welcome on my arrival- Very professional staff. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also the hotel is close to the center point and other shopping areas, companies, banks, malls around, which makes it very convenient for shopping. If I have to visit Amman again, I will surely stay in this hotel Millennium Hotel Amman. . The stafes were very welcoming and professional they upgrade the room for me with same price of standerd one even when I extend the staying time they keep same room with same price , the site was good , easy to get a taxi and alot of facilities nearby it ( resturant, bank ). Most importantly I liked the STAFF they are very professional and I truly appreciate this. I enjoyed the restaurants and fitness facility. I enjoyed the view of Amman from my room. Lots of great places to eat and shop nearby. As in my first review, I truly appreciate the very warm welcoming, professional staff. I told the staff that I would be back and I did return, and I shall return again. All Millennium is an outstanding Hotel. I really like my stay at Millennium Hotel all the staff were friendly specially Mr. Shrief from the front desk , Sara – club lounge , Rami – room service and Mohamad at the Sky Bar. The atmosphere is marvelous . The staff courtesy was outstanding . The cleanness of the hotel and the rooms are excellent . The furniture is gorgeous . Perfect hotel management, very quick to respond to any concerns/points of discomfort. Rooms are very well designed, comfortable and spacious. - The staff were amazing. - Very clean. - In the middle of the city where everything is close and can be reached fast. Staff at front desk was incredibly helpful and courteous. I could get help on everything from a manicure to a pharmacy. I liked the modern design, even though it's not my style. The hotel was very clean and staff seemed nice. location was excellent. Room was specious and clean. Breakfast was great and with choices. Very good and nice staff. The ac on warm statuse and we could not changed when I asked them to fixed they told me in winter time the whole system in all room r in heater system , the wi fi is chargable in lobby and even in business center which is not acceptable. The business wasn't prepared. Apparently this were being moved around. No dislikes. swimming pool is indoor , wifi is not for free, since the name of the hotel is Millennium!!. Nothing. It was nice but not very kid friendly. There was a small rooftop pool but it was surrounded by a bar and people smoking, so for business or other it's great, but I wouldn't recommend for families. Prices on their internet is too expensive 17Jod around 22 $. for a day. I think I should look at Dubai's hotels and compare your prices with their prices. You will be surprised. Most of Dubai´s hotels have free or cheap Internet. Breakfast selection and service not up to standards. You have to pay for wifi in the room (a 5star should not do that!), the club upstairs is very kitch...they should care more about the kind of music they play. (Not for Europeans...) And was always empty. Bar lacking in atmosphere Parts of the hotel closed for private functions. the A/C ,it is all controlled automatically ,means if it will work warm , all the floor will be warm , and vise versa . and this is bad because I dont like warm air even in cold weather. I informed the reception and they didn't care ,they said that the major guest in my floor want it warm and they complain for that . so I also make a complain . no one care. Location and hotel entrance. Everything is overpriced, room, food etc. Such standard is available elswhere in the region for much less... little bit Expensive comparing with Grand Mellinnum Dubai. I had to stay 40 mins to take my room , and they told me we didn't get the reservation yet from the site ( letsbookhotel.com ) so that was really bad . Food fell below expectations. Bathroom had a design flaw as water escaped when overhead shower was running, creating a pool of water making the marble floor extremely slippery. A/c inside the room was super hot Pillows were not comfortable Room wasen't that clean noisy nightclub although I was staying at the 11th floor. Average breakfast same everyday room service food wasnt for 5 star hotel. the location is yet not known. I was on the 19th floor and the lounge is on the next floor, the sound feels that I'm inside the lounge. I spoke with the hotel management, but no action was taken only promises to shut them up but no action. They finally stopped at 03:15am and it was Monday, what a bad day to start your business meeting. 1- the staff had attitude and not really helpful 2- scurity checks (body check plus all bags) everytime you enter the hotel 3- no slippers or robes as normal 5 star hotel adn we didnt get any slippers unti the 4th time we asked!!! 4- full payment in advance and a security deposit!!! as if we will steal sth! i have been to so many hotels not one will ask for full advance payment. Rooms are so small and does not worth the money paid. Most of taxi doesn't know the place as its new. The reciption and the cleaning staff not much cooperation ,. Price. A curry dinner I ordered through room service was very good. Service, staff and their understanding, No business center, No gym, No pool or SPA.. As was mentioned on letsbookhotel.com and on hotel web site, that's bad things to lie about facilities.. noisey rooms and indifferent staff. Very poor service and maintenance. House keeping and Room service are a disaster!. The staff. - loud Noise from the night club reaches all floors. - I stayed for 2 weeks and it became normal to wait more than an hour if you asked for any thing in addition to the necessity to remind the front desk every 10 minutes. - level of staff and clean has extremely changed since I stayed at the hotel few months back. I had to stay 45 min in the lobby to get my suite , and the suite was horrible , 1. No lock for the door 2. The house keeping guys entered my room 4 times 3. The bell was broken 4. The was no light screen ti control the lights in the room 5. The slippers at the bathroom was used and dirty 6. And i got 2 phone calls at 7am from the reception for no reason It was the worst stay ever.
