I liked the hotel facilities and the convenient location of the hotel since it was near a train station. There are also stores nearby so one ca easily go out and buy what they need then come back to the hotel only after a short while. The staff where helpful with any problem that I had. I liked the location as it was near Kannai station and also I discovered the best Nepalese restaurant. The food was out of this world!!.
all reviews » - Good Location : 15mins walk from Kannai Station and very near shopping street. - All facilities are good, staffs are supportive and speaking English very well. Excellent service, Very close to shopping district, 2 stations away from Yokohama, Only a station away from Sakuragicho. The subway from Yokohama was right outside front door. Overlooked a park area. Easy to walk to China town. Free Wi-Fi in the room Makes breakfast optional to reduce price. Convenience store in entrance. Great location, close to the metro, value for money. really close to subway station. Clean and kind hospitality. I like best the cleanliness and ordeliness on the room I occupied with my family. Room space although a bit small for 3 people is already at acceptable level. The staff was very friendly. Location was good - we had a bit of difficulty finding it due to making a wrong turn out of the train station. Close to JR station, lots to see and do close by, check in and out trouble free. Relatively near to the Kannai station. Odori park is right in front. Well located, quiet. Near subway station. There was no option for cool air conditioning since it was winter thus the aircon was only emitting heat but the room was so warm that we had difficulty sleeping. The room was just so hot it was as if it was summer time not autumn and the window was locked. I asked what could be done. So they allowed me to open the window thank goodness which made all the difference. I could smell smoking (little) in the non-smoking room. Insufficient ventilation: you have to turn the cooler to maximum even in november to breathe. The room was very small and beds were very hard. No usable Wi-Fi in Lobby. The interior of the room needs to be updated, when you enter the room it feels like your transported back in time. The room was too small. Language barrier - Most of the front desk staff are not conversant to English and I find it akward being a non-Japanese when I tried to get information from them. We asked for a non smoking room but it did not make a bit of difference as cigarette smoke permeated throughout the entire floor and all of our clothes even those in our suitcase reeked of smoke. Stayed at Washington before, but we were not as pleased this time. Carpet dirty/stained, elevators and other areas of the hotel smell strongly of cigarette smoke. No Wi-fi. Room had peculiar smell, bath tub leaked.
