When we stayed here there was some renovation going on at the hotel, complete with scaffolding. By the time we left, they had finished and were removing the scaffolding. Despite that, it was a great place to stay. The rooms were small by Western standards, but I found them quite comfortable and clean. all reviews » Hotel has a nice comfortable and clean rooms. It is located about 15 minutes walk from Asakusa subway station or Kuramae station. Tourist attractions are within easy reach via subway or walking distance. Sky Tree tower is only about 15 minutes walk, Sumo Museum is 10 minutes' walk away. You can prepare your meal in the room, which has an electric kettle, microwave oven, stove. It was our second stay at the hotel and we're gonna always be satisfied. The room rate was very good. The staff were very helpful especially when we checked in late at night, and also when we were trying to courier our luggage to Osaka. If you're planning to send your luggage to the airport or elsewhere, all you need to do is fill up a form (or get the hotel staff to help you) at the reception, and someone from TaQbin will pick it up from the hotel. It's really convenient. Very close to tourist attractions such as Asakusa/Sensoji Shrine, Tokyo Skytree Tower, Sumida River Boat Tours. A cab ride to Tokyo City Air Terminal and Tokyo Station. nice service. good looking ladies at the desk. bicycle and many more things for rent. the location is perfect for going to akiba or asakusa by foot. They had laundry and bike rental services. One of the rooms we booked had a nice view of Skytree. Relatively close to Kuramae subway station amd many other attractions. I would kindly suggest that hotel management put a sign out front that directs their guests around the back for elevator access. Yuka was on duty when we checked in and she was very helpful. The location was not near restaurants and night life. Since I have booked a room for 12 nights, I found it exaggerated that I was charged another 1080 jpy for 3 additional hours, because I have arrived at noon, it means, 3 hours before the official check in. No room cleaning service for the whole stay. Anyway they informed us about this when checking-in, so no surprise there. Small, bathroom and sink could use refurbishing. Room slightly on the small side. nothing , its perfect to me. The staff does not speak english. The entrance to the hotel was a little obscure - it was particularly difficult to find at night. One of the rooms we got was quite small and there are no cleaning services ie you gotta do your own trash and change of sheets/towels.
