The hotel was very good. The room was small, but bigger than what I usually get in London or Paris. Everything was in order and very clean. The staff is very attentive to the guests and more than eager to help. Unfortunately they do not speak very good English if at all, but this is typical in all of Japan. The location of the hotel is excellent because it is in the very middle of the city while being quiet. There are many restaurants near the hotel a few 100 meters away from it, as well as two.
all reviews » The location is a big plus for toshi center hotel,it is only less than 5min walking to nagatacho st, there is also family mart accross the street plus a really delicious chinese resto beside family mart. The facilities r excellent. Although in a slightly quieter area, the hotel is close to the Metro, which made getting around very easy, and was still within walking distance (20 mins) of the Imperial Palace Gardens. Free internet access was great. The staff members were friendly, but some of them cannot speak English well. The hospitality is first-class. It's not far to Tokyo main train station. If you are on business, it's close to the government offices. The best Hotel experience I've had so far, and I may add that I travel quite a bit, best customer service, staff and location, and the list could go on, very happy I stayed there. Good location with good access to subway lines. Convenience store just accross the road and heaps of restaurants close by in Akasaka. Perfect location near Nagatacho station. There's not a lot of restaurants nearby, and not much going on in the hotel itself. It is not as convenient as it was indicated on the hotel's website. It is difficult to find the directions from the exits of train stations to the hotel unless you know how to get around. It's better to use the exit from Kojimachi. It is not easy to get to the hotel from airport. It's not easy to take bus or train ... need some work. Nothing. The breakfast buffet isn't really at the level of the hotel. Only few choices and not even comparable to european standards. The hotel was not close to a JR rail station. Internet service was unsatisfactory; many times unusable, with pages being extremely slow or refusing to load. This occurred more often with media-heavy sites such as Google Maps or YouTube. No wireless is available. No wireless internet connection. If you need skin lotion, you need to ask counter for it. It is not in the room at the first place. neighbourhood are official places. not close to any tourist attractions or shopping. But close to Tokyo metro. Very very small bed and general room. No wifi in rooms, only in the lobby. Nothing actually. staff does not speak much English. Beds were pretty uncomfortable. Wifi is only available in the lobby and there is no where comfortable to sit there. It is a very public area. The smell of smoke in all the rooms even if non smoking. no wifi in the rooms and pay 1050 Yen per one day internet! To have a bottle of water you have to out and buy it in agrocery store??? is an hotel or extremely bad inn?????. I ordered for a non-smoking room. But they had to give me a smoking room because there wasn't any non-smoking left. A business hotel dressed up a little to charge 240usd per night. Very poor value.
