Excellent value for money. The hotel is about 8-10 min walk from Osaka station and Umeda station, 5 min walk from Higashi Umeda station. The staff didn't speak much English (except for one that we encountered) but they were eager to help and always very polite. The rooms are small but adequate for Japanese standard. Everything you need is there. Ground-floor laundry room has 2 coin-operated high-tech washing machines (approx. ¥500 for washing and drying a full load), vending machines, ice mach.
all reviews » The location is superb! Near Osaka station in the red light district and gay area of Osaka. The hotel is cheap and offers good rooms at low rates and services. The staff is friendly and cooperative. The rooms are small but fully equipped. The room was clean. The location was only 13 minutes by foot from Osaka jr station. They provide you a hair dryer. It has elevator. It has a water machine. The main train station, Umeda, is just within walking distance. Since the area is very lively at night, I felt quite safe walking on the street. The bathroom is clean and modern although its abit small. Room is clean and they provide yukata and good bathroom amenities. It was a bit basic but hotels are expensive in Japan and the service here was excellent. the location is in a center of business and shopping. good location, good price and great staff. Everything! The location is a short distance away from the main road and there is several alleys which can be quite confusing to find your way. no breakfast, cause i did not chose the room with breakfast he he...the breakfast is quite expensive. no wifi in the room. Nothing. The neighborhood was like a Red Light District, full of sex shops and shady bars. We didn't feel unsafe walking there at night, but wouldn't want to stay in that kind of area again. The hotel can also be a little hard to get to since Osaka Station is such a maze. The bed was old/hard and the room had very few TV channels. Non-smoking room, but hallway smelled strongly of smoke. Not being able to use the Wifi in the lobby, only in the dining room, AC somewhat old model. Small room, and small bathroom. Location is hard to find, in a dedalus of ambiguous nightclubs. A bit of smell in the room but if you stay in the room long enough you just get use to it. smell of smoke in the room no windows in the room the map of the hotel in the website isn't detailed enough bad wi-fi. The room was smallish compared to some other Japan hotels. Temperature was slightly cold. No fridge... And internet was difficult to obtain. Room were small but guess itts space constraint. Overall size of the room is quite small. Smells of cigarates in room. The hotel is located at red light area. A lot of guests walking here and there throughout the night and i couldn't have a good sleep. Furthermore, the bed is facing right to towards the door which is a taboo for us.
