  Awesome place! The lady that runs the place is very nice. Order dinner, you won't regret! Room is big and nice. The hotel is right next to a river, which makes your sleep very pleasant.There's an indoor hot bath which is very nice. If you have a lot of baggage we would propose to catch a taxi from the station to the hotel it will cost you 710 yen ... what people say » and will save you wandering until you get there. Once you're in the hotel it is very easy to access the center and the stations. - The guesthouse is well located, clean inside and quite, the owner friendly and helpful and the hot spring bath was great, looking out on the forest with the sound of a rushing stream nearby.

  It is marvelous small hotel in beautiful town called Nikkó. The owners - Sizuo and his wife Keiko are perfect, very kind and helpful people, they are very hospitable, they answer you at all your questions about interesting places. Everything was perfect at the hotel - traditional rooms, tatami floors, tea invitation. It is not far from the center ... what people say » and Sizuo also pick you up from the station and when you leave the town, he also pick you to the station. We also had perfect traditional japan breakf - Its was my first time to stay in Japanese home-stay guest room, and I have wonderful experience with Rindou. Sizuo San is a friendly owner, he has well prepared the room with the heather as well as the hot tea when I have arrived. He picked me when I arrived at the station. Beside the room, I love the dinner and breakfast prepared by him. Would strongly recommended if you wish to experience the typical japanese food, and of course the foods are so delicious.   The staffs are very helpful. Even it was our mistake not requesting non smoking room, the staff was willing to help us by giving us an air cleaner. English speaking staff was also have an ezcellent accent.

  We spent 1 night in the hotel/Ryokan. Really nice to stay in quite a traditional accommodation. The staff spoke fair English, by Japanese standards. Was very cute that my name was up on a welcome sign and next to my shoe spot. We used the private bath as we have tattoos, which was fun, but we had to put the cold tap on for a bit first as it was b... what people say » oiling water! They provided us with useful maps and restaurant information upon arrival. The Japanese breakfast was a good experience, although I didn - When we checked in, we though that we will have a room with a bathroom. Nope! It has only toilet. And we needed to use hotel's common bath. It turned out to be a very good experience using Japanese common bath. It is very clean and very relaxing in hot tub. My second favorite is Japanese gourmet, both dinner and breakfast. They are big meal, I must say. They serve a local specialty called Yuba, which are dishes made from Tofu. Not bad at all.
