Comfortable small business hotel, near to the center attraction of Kyoto. Very easy to get bus for going around Kyoto. Economical, budget friendly. Staff not super friendly, but good enough to explain directions and giving useful maps & bus scedulle. The twin rooms were quite roomy for Japan. The breakfast was great, western and Japanese style with excellent coffee. There is a LAN line in the room for free WiFI. and the location can't be beat, close to shopping. shrines and transportation.

Easy to access every wear, no. 50 bus from Kyoto station is opposite the hotel. Train stations and bus stations are easily accessible. Good location, not far from Shijo subway station and walking distance to the restaurants between Sanjo Dori and Shijo Dori, and even to Gion. Location. 1. cable needed for internet (supplied by hotel) 2. city itself... Small bathroom. Advertised as having free WiFi but it didn't. No WiFi at all, let alone free!. Air conditioning was broken and heated the room. Very important! It has a construction site just next to the hotel. I stat at 10/f,12-11-13 the construction site built up to 9/f, on 11-11-13 it has reach 10/f and is 5 ft parallel to my only window! It is good that I went out the whole day and when I come back at night the worker has already went home. This make me feel very unsafe and for a hotel that can only provide peace envoirment at night it is over price and should be aware by future customer. Facility is a bit old and no WIFI. Staff were not over friendly. I put this down to a limited understanding of English. Room and bathrooms were a bit small. a bit far to walk from the metro station. the entrance is not accuratly indicated on the map. The blanket on the bed was dirty. Small room (within standards in Japan). Staff not very helpful, we only had our phone to connect to Internet (there is no wifi in the hotel) and they weren't able to point us to a bar offering wifi that was just 2 minutes walking from there. Limi facilities. Receptionist the Female unfriendly she not interrseting who are you even costomer.
