This was a convenient hotel to stay a day before boarding a cruise ship in Kobe. It was within walking distance from the train station. Front desk graciously held our luggage a couple of hours after we checked out before we could board the ship. The accommodations were excellent and the in-house restaurants were superb (especially the Thai restaurant). The staff was wonderful and their English was good enough to help me out as needed. I highly recommend staying at the b Kobe!.

The hotel has attracted to visit Kobe again. The twin-bed room was quite big compared to other hotel accomodations in Japan, very big bathroom, latest room design, easy access from Sannomiya (JR, Hankyu, Hanshin, Seishin Yamate Subway). Great access to the city of Kobe, didn't need to use public transport at all around Sannomiya. I had my 9mth old with me and the staff upgraded me to a bigger room to accommodate the cot. The location is great. We had a very spacious room, with two big beds. The bathroom was awesome, but a bit small for two. Lacks personality, hotel rooms are like cabins in a cruise ship. Our allocated room was overheated (despite pleasant Spring weather outside) with no temperature control and no opening windows. However, we were moved to a cooler room when we made staff aware of our concerns. Very poor English of hotel staff. No Wifi in the room and smoking area directly outside the door. Quite expensive. There is a very strong smell of cigarettes everywhere in the hotel - even in the non smoking rooms. We have requested a non smoking room in advance and really had to struggle to find a room without strong smell. Stuff was not very polite when trying to find a room. Old bathroom fixtures, facilities. Noisy outdoors make it hard to sleep. All three in the group agreed. room is quiet small . tiny room difficult to find the location.
