I made a reservation in this hotel for my parents. It was their wedding anniversary and the hotel's owner welcomed them by giving them a bottle of wine as a present. The service was incredibly awesome! Amazing breakfast, big and clean rooms, best location, and extremely nice and helpful staff. I'm so thankful to them that I'm speachless. 100% recommendable. all reviews » the location of this hotel is not difficult to find, and it is near to the water bus stop, so it is very convienent. And with about 15mins walk we can reach Piazza S. Marco and a few mins to Rialto. The decoration of the room is venetian style, eye-catching. Breakfast is good as well. Staff is average helpful. Two couples traveled to Venice this June. Locanda Antico Fiore is located perfectly, window are on the small and quiet channel. Easy to find and just a few steps from the bus stop. The hostess is very nice and welcoming. Definitely would recommend this location for families and friends. Very quaint hotel close to shopping, water bus/transportation, all in walking distance. Breakfast was good and the staff was very helpful and attentive. Also the hotel had great charm and character and a good value. The place was small, quiet and very lovely. The hotel sent good instructions to finding it, and the place was very near a vaporetto stop. Breakfast was typically italian but bigger than in some places I've stayed. Location. room is abit overpriced, we were paying euro 130 for a very small double room ,that room just fits a a queen size bed and another single friend was also paying the same price alone for a big doubleroom. this hotel is tiny but beautiful, it is not advised to bring big luggage to this hotel because there is no elevator and the stairways are narrow too. WiFi signal was not so good. Rooms/Bathroom was small and there was a couple of narrow flights of stairs to climb. Don't recommend for the elderly or for those that have trouble climbing stairs, etc. But overall this place was great and these were non-issues for us. This was not a problem for me but there were a lot of stairs. The water in the shower was inconsistant. only thing is the internet cannot be used when we live in the ground floor... The breakfast could be better. Lack of storage space in the attic room, crammed bathroom space no need for a bidet. 32 Steps up to reception/room could be limiting factor for some. Suite is not really a suite Air conditioning didn't work Wifi was intermittent Wasn't completely clear from website that this was a B&B, not a hotel so lack of bar was unexpected.
