Easy to find, Staff was very helpful and aided us getting to the room, which was located in a separate building. Very helpful getting our bags to the room, which was no easy task as I was travelling for three weeks and required vacation and work clothes! Great location close to St. Mark's square and other attractions. Staff was very helpful in our checkout process offering to sotre our bags if we needed for a few hours and things like that.
all reviews » The hotel was in a very good position and was easy to find, our standard double room was a good size and very quiet at night and the the en suite bathroom was stylish and immaculate. All the staff were suberb; they spoke good english, they smiled and they could not have been more helpful. Breakfast was excellent and exactly what we wanted - lots of choice and hot and cold options.Location of the hotel was fantasic and the hotel staff were very helpful and friendly and they spoke excellent english. The hospitality was wonderful! It was centrally located. This was mythird trip to Venice and I would stay here again. the locaton;ambience of rooms dinning hall n receptin as also cleanliness was excellent. Had to pay for internet access in the rooom and the internet room of the hotel.there was building work at the front of the hotel which meant we had no view at all out of the window or much circulation of air, we were out for most of each day during daylight but it could have been very disppointing. The motor left us in the glass products purchasing outlet without warning and informing us about its departure.Very near to San Marco and water Bus. breakfast is fair; A/C in room is old and noisy. Poor bar facilities, rusty bath in otherwise spotless bathroom, no tea/coffee in room facilities, very limited sat. TV only CNN and sky news. Nothing, I will return next year. The only slight dislike we had was the firmness if the mattress. taps and carpets in the room were a bit worn. Internet access should be free of charge like in most hotels and also a small smoker's section should be available. noise, small room. elevator was too small. Perhaps it's the age of the city itself with old buildings. But we personally think that hotel rooms need clean-up, renovation and remodeling. Found bugs in our room, which the only thing makes us feel the downside of this hotel. Carpet is worn out, need replacement. But again, can't complaint much considering the age of the city itself.Small room, hardly warranting description of delux. Breakfast poor quality.
