Excellent location: 8 minutes from train station, 3 minutes vaporetto stop, 5 min to mini supermarket, 30 min walking to Realto Market. Plenty inexpensive cafe just 2 min. Very quiet, good sleep after busy day. Clean and safe area. Sergio (owner) and his wife very friendly, gave us good tips on visit. Clean and comfy flat had everything for cooking for a family and even washing mashine. Very warmin a flat. Big and clean comfi bed. Cleaned every day.If you like big breakfast, then you can always.
all reviews » This B&B is located very closely to the train station (5 min. walking) and bus station (10 min. walking). Also the water taxi stop Riva di Biasio is only 2 min. walking distance. The couple Sergio and Marcella are very nice, friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is plentiful and delicious, prepared and served by Marcella in their little tiny kitchen. Also they let us keep the luggage in their house after checkout while we were sightseeing. Quiet area. Definitely would come back to this plac. It was a spacious family room with a fridge. A/C worked great on bottom, but boys needed a fan in the loft. Really hot while we were there. Close to some good restaurants in quiet area, but short walk to the nightlife. A basic, but nice bed and breakfast. The breakfast was wonderful. She even sent it up on tray for Mom who was running late the first morning. Very nice people and we would stay again. In a great location, just two minutes walk from the Riva de Biasio ferry stop (one stop after the main train station). Staff were wonderful and friendly, and the bed was so comfortable, I had the best sleep there the whole week I was in Italy! We only stayed overnight but it was very enjoyable. Loved that it was owned by an Italian couple really had a nice feel to it very traditionally Venice style. The staff was nice but hit or miss on the local side street restaurants for value, most expensive still and touristy even in the alleys less traveled. Serena was lovely. She prepared us nice breakfast for our first night and a to-go breakfast on the second night because we had to catch an early train. Hotel is quite quaint. Staff did not speak much English but you can sense the welcome. Reasonably good location. Perfect location (just 10min. By walk and only 2 bridges). Silence and no group of turists around. The location is not bad, near by railyway station. The hotel is more like guest house. - clean - centrally located - friendly - we can leave our luggage after check out. Helpful staff. the lady who took care of our breakfast was very nice, i think she was the wife of the owner. the room has air conditioning which was just what we needed during hot summer, and most hotels or hostles don't provide that. they also have a small refrigerator that worked quite well on making iced water! the bathroom was in good conditon, clean and big enough. down stairs there is a small kitchen so it was very convenient if you wan to cook. That it was a place to sleep, nothing more. Little panic, because the street name was not on a map. Think depend of the map. Very tiny street just couple houses. Look for a little canal and tiny squar without greens. Local people very helpfull found this street very quick. Place was hard to find. Not all streets are marked and there is no outside sign for the B&B. It's not a dislike but they prefer cash payments, no lift but none expected,. Nothing. have to manually carry the luggage from santa lucia station to the hotel... thats how it is in venice... Place is a little difficult to find but managable if you have a map. difficult to find (you could also say: they use a very discrete sign). The fact that the bathroom wasn't private. Hotel Name is not prominent. Though gps were there, name board was not very much visible. The kettle is not fit for use. The disused fridge in the apartment is moldy and should be removed for health reason. The pictures on letsbookhotel.com are not the same as rooms itselfs. Very unpleasant serviceman. - not easy to find - we thought the breakfast was included but it appears that the landlord need to buy from the supermarket. so we didn't bother and bought our own breakfast. Difficult to find. external bathroom. it was difficult to find this place, it should be just 10 mintues walk but it took us more than half an hour. the breakfast was only a cup of juice of coffee, two small pieces of bread and raw meats. on the last day we found a bed bug and it was horrifying. The owner/manager was rude, very rude. We were lost trying to find the place and when I called him on the phone he started yelling at me that he was not going to wait around. The accomidations were portrayed incorrectly. They led you to believe one thing when it was actually another. I would not stay here agin no matter how budget friendly. Hard to find, beds awful, described as two bedroom appartment. One bedroom was pull out couch by front door. Terrible to sleep on, and the pillows were like rocks.
