It was more than we expected. Very nice hotel in a quiet section of Venice. The beautiful ambience. We had friends staying at another hotel and our buffet was far superior to theirs. It was in quite a good location and it was a very pleasant area, though most of Venice is. cleanliness,staff excellent,silence. We only stayed for one night and had to leave early but our impression was a very good one. The staff were very helpful and the room clean, well presented and exactly as we expected. A very nice hotel in a quiet area away from the crowds.location was excellent , out of the hustle and bustle but only 15 mins walk to the action. Pleasant and helpful staff.quiet location. friendly and professional staff (though reception staff somewhat aloof). Close to the water-bus-stop (Madonna D'Orto) to and from the airport. room decor and comfort; location; cleanliness. nothing - it was the best on our trip ! and I never expected such a nice place at this price in Venice !. more english channels for room entertainment. Rooms on ground floor have no windows and are noisy during the preparation of the breakfast in the morning.I would have liked to have an ironing board and iron. I know you can get clothes ironed but I would rather do this myself. There was a group of Japanese who were very noisy in the morning opening and closing doors and talking very loudly at 6:30am for almost a hour. However, that isn't the hotels fault. We found it difficult to get back in to the hotel on two occassions. The night porter obviously nods off but we found it infuriating one night because we had to wait about 5 minutes.very expensive hotel bar , and mini bar in the room, but so was venice. Bar prices. bar prices excessively high (even by Venetian standards). Charge for use of internet 8 euros per hour. A bit of a walk from the main attractions. this was the first of 13 hotels over an eight week period where could not access an iron or use international telephone card. on both matters staff not helpful.
