  Excellent place to stay. People responsible for the B&B are very friendly. Excellent location (walking distance to airport, roughly 1 km). 30 minutes from Piazzale Roma (Venice) by bus 5. Nice also to be able to have pic nic in the garden (chairs, tables and umbrellas for the sun are provided) - Near Venice Airport but quite rural and quaint... what people say » . Stephano, the proprietor, went out of his way to accomodate me. The Number 5 bus both to Venice and to airport stops nearby. I booked it from the internet on a leap of faith because I was stranded due to Italian strike. Felt I lucked out.

  The price was extremely reasonable, especially after two nights in San Marco. We had an early morning flight from the airport so wanted to move out of the San Marco area the evening before our flight. Bella Onda was minutes from the airport. There is no staff on site but there was a intercom at the front door so that we could contact them as soon ... what people say » as we arrived. They were very helpful getting us settled into our rooms. Breakfast things were available in the room so that we could eat even though - Our mroom in this B&B was completely self-contained. We arrived late on a flight into Venice airport, and we were met at the terminal, and it was only about a five minute trip to the Bella Onda B&B. We were shown to the room, which was large with one bed, and a table set for our breakfast. There was an adjacent kitchen with cold items in the refrigerator (butter, cheese, yogurt) and tea/coffee making facilities. We enjoyed being able to take breakfast without having to leave our room.   This is my regular stopping point to be near Venice Airport. The staff are alway very helpful and friendly regardless of time of day. The free shuttle to the airport is also "a nice touch" that a lot of other hotels don't offer.A great place to stop. - The very closest hotel to the Airport.   It was close to the airport and was very comfortable for our stay. Our request for waking us up early was taken up and we got a call exactly when we wanted! We also got a cab booked and that arrived at the exact time. The Hotel was just right for our purpose. - Hotel Venice Resor is fabulous, good quality hotel. Best regards from Montenegro

  It was very close to the airport, and a bus stop, and the management were extremely accommodating, driving us to the Port to catch a cruise at no charge, and the manager wouldn't take any money for his efforts, and then we stayed a second night on our return and he drove us to the airport at 5:00 am, again, at no charge, and he wouldn't take any m... what people say » oney for his efforts. Very gracious people who own and run the small hotel, and one I highly recommend to anyone else. - The Hotel is brand new... they opened just one month ago, so everything is spotless..The man in charge of the Hotel has been absolutely fantastic. He offers a shuttle service to/from the airport, which is less than a km away..He charges nothing for this, although a cab costs 20 euros for just one way (this is the minimum fare for every taxi). He insisted to take me to the airport at 5 am!!!! absolutely recommendable!!

  Reasonable choice for an early flight. It took me less than half an hour to walk to the airport and this small trip saved me a lot of money. The owner speaks fluent English (this is not common in Italy!) and ready to give all necessary information.
