  We stayed for 2 days at B&B Porta di Mare. The owner, Michele, provided us the best customer service we have ever had during our trip in Sicily! We stayed in the room at ground floor, which is very spacious, with a/c and with a wonderful bed. Everything was good and I can only recommend it. Just a hint if you are using Goo - Nevertheless owner did not speak any english and we understand zero italian we managed to communicate, it was quite exciting :) The room itself (we had Vasco Da Gamma room - how cute!) was great! I really recommend this location not only because of good quality hotel but also because of very very helpful owner.

  Location is nice and the view is just wonderful. Center is near (and free wi-fi is available in Piazza Scandaliato and Piazza Saverio Friscia), but be aware that you are ready to climb the stairs or rent a car. We had an apartment on top, so a bar was not an inconvinience and we had an incredible view of all the fishing port. By the way, bar "Ch... what people say » arlie" is good both for food and drinks, it is a wonderful place to learn more about local life. Apartment was big, clean and well-equipped. Giovanni - It was an absolutely perfect location in Sciacca. Ideal for a walk around the town and port and super clean and convienient. We loved it and would recommend it very highly. For longer stays ideal since there is a very well equipped kitchen and for shorter stays...better than any hotel!
