We stayed in the Annex, which is around the corner from the main hotel and reception. Both buildings are in the old city centre, a block or two away from Trevi fountain and many restaurants and curio shops. great location. The staff were very friendly and helpful, with good English-speaking ability. because we stayed in the Annex, breakfast is served in our rooms. Although a typical continental breakfast, we could make certain selections and specify the time at which breakfast was to be deliver.
all reviews » We really loved staying in this hotel. The room was a good size and very clean. The bed was large and very comfortable. We had a room with a small balcony, looking out onto the street, which we much appreciated. The location is perfect for visiting all the sights in Rome and the staff were all friendly and helpful. Other reviewers have mentioned Tiger on reception as being extra helpful, and he does, indeed, deserve a special mention. If breakfast is included in your tariff, it is delivered to . The rooms were nicely furnished, comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served in your room, based on your specific selections off their breakfast menu, and at the specific time you request it (and breakfast was delivered to us precisely on time every time time). We loved the wifi in the rooms and the bathroom was a good size, still tiny shower but with THE BEST shower head and water pressure. The guy at reception named Tiger was extremely helpful and fun! He went above and beyond to make sure our stay in Rome was great!The location is fabulous, it is within walking distance to the Trevi Fountain,the Pantheon, the Colosseum, The Spanish Steps and the subway stop. Having coffee sent to your door was great after a week of having to get up and try and look presentable to go to a hotel lobby. Location was great, central city. Rome is big so you will have to walk/subway somewhere to see the sights, you just have to decide where you would want to be mainly located. Triple room was much bigger than most european standards. The location is right in the center of Rome, right near the Trevi Fountain. Shops and restaurants are right outside your door. The majority of historical sites can be reached by foot within 10 - 15 minutes. No historical site is more than 30 minutes away by foot. Spectacular view of the Trevi Fountain and the neighborhood was filled with outdoor cafes, gelato shops and plenty of gift shops. The two room apartment was perfect for our group of four. Accommodation was very clean a well appointed. The staff were friendly and helpful. Would definately stay here again and would recommend it to anyone wanting a central location close to all the sights. Breakfast was included and good value. The toilet seat was cracked and had been repaired. It would be better if it were replaced, but I have to admit that we did not complain about this. The breakfast includes a slice of toasted white bread. It would be better if the hotel could provide a bread roll more suitable for eating with the ham/salami and cheese provided. The Annexe is located in a little alley of a street which doesn't make the best first impression, but that's the only negative thing I can think of. The tiny washroom doorway was cute at first; but we hit our heads twice at night trying to reach the washroom. Staircase in the bedroom led to an inaccessible rooftop.
