The bathroom with bath! This was very modern and business like. The service was good at night when needed. accessibility from roma termini, english speaking and helpful front desk personnel, adequate breakfast. I will stay there again if I get a chance to go to Rome again.Nice rooms, nice wallpaintings. Jacuzzi. The location was pretty accessible to the sites. One front dest staff member in particular was exceptional in attitude and helpfulness. The breakfast staff was also very accommodating and pleasant.

Located in the historical centre of Rome ,near by the famous gateway Porta Pia, in the diplomatic district, Hotel Montecarlo is situated on the corner between Via Palestro and Via Montebello, about 600 metres from Termini Station and Piazza della Repubblica, and just a few steps away from the British Embassy.

The hotel usually organises city tours and trips to important cities outside Rome, such as Tivoli, Florence, Capri, Pompei, Naples, and Venice.

From Leonardo da Vinci- FCO Airport:
Take the train to Termini Station and then you can walk to the hotel, however, if you have heavy luggage it may be more convenient to take a taxi to the hotel from the station.

By Car:
From Leonardo da Vinci-FCO Airport:
- Take the Fiumicino – Roma motorway.
- Join the Grande Raccordo Anulare (a motorway going around the City like a ring).
- Exit at Nomentana.
- Continue in the direction of Centro (the Nomentana is a main road which takes you to the centre).
- Once you are in Piazzale Porta Pia (a large square with a monument of the Bersagliere Soldier), turn left at the traffic lights, just in front the ancient walls of Rome.
- Then turn right at the first street (Via Montebello).
- After 200 metres you will reach the corner with Via Palestro, where the hotel is located.
