The best thing about Locanda del Vaticano was the kitchen facilities. To be able to cook your own meals is great when travelling on a small budget. The owner was very friendly and I felt very safe in the apartment. Being in a residential block meant that security was very good and you didn't stand out as tourists. The building was in a great location as only a 20 minute walk to both the Vatican City and Piazza del Popolo. It was also only 100m from a metro stop! All in all, I couldn't fault my . all reviews »
I liked location, a few metres from metro. The single room is in minimal style but it is enought to relax and bathroom is rather big. Trere is a big good kitchen. Guesthouse is situated near river and not far from Villa Borgese, so I had opportunity to walk in nice places.
Unbelievably good location for the dollar. You simply cannot find
cheaper quality accommodation in Rome. Very clean, quiet, central with
everything you need close by. Would stay again in a second...did not
want to leave this apartment...soooo cozy and homey!.
It was a very nice place to stay, in a very good aerea that you can walk in the center. It has a very nice kitchen that you can cook if you are a budget traveller. Its very clean and the bed is very comfy!!.
its within walking distance of the attractions, its clean and is a good value for money. it's exactly what you need when on a city trip and you're not planning to stay in the hotel anyway.

Checking in is an ordeal...especially if you do not have a cell phone.
Owner can be difficult to contact so you are on your own...which is a
pain if you want to extend your stay...and the other guests kept eating
my food in the fridge....arghhhh....you know who you are...I Want my
olives back!.
there was one day that we didnt have hot water.
We don't expect more for the price. Remember that's not a hotel.
For more facilities pay more in luxury hotel.
They donot offer shower gel , and we didn't take ours neither.
Room in standard flat. Good for 1 night only. In my case good to wait for the flight next morning.
