We were traveling with my 3 sisters and family. The group of 4 rooms was excellent. The only slight problem was their computer initially processing payment. The rooms are nice and private bathrooms a pleasure (since in the past we shared bathrooms to get a lower rate). The location is awesome. Wtih the windows shut there was not much noise even though close to the street. The breakfast was adequate--toast, egg, juice. All-in-all we would definitely recommend--especially if you do not need .
all reviews » the location is great, walking distance to historic center, trevi fountain, spanish steps, etc. it's right next to the metro station (Barberini) which provides easy access from/to the airport. easy bus travel to colosseo. since it's right on the piazza, it can get really noisy, but the windows are sound proof, so we didn't have any problem with sleeping when the windows were closed. breakfast is offered in a café right accross the street. breakfast is average, but the personnel of the café is q. Great location - Affittacamere La Dolce Vita Barberini is just a stones throw away from the Trevi, Spanish Steps and the Barberini Metro and Bus links are right on your doorstep. The Snack Bar for Breakfast is excellent. Best Cappuccino, Pastries and Fresh Orange juice in Rome! Room was always clean and tidy and the staff were very welcoming and helpful. Amazing location, a few steps away from the metro station, easy to go to all the tourist attractions as well as the Termini station. Hotel staff is really helpful and friendly. We did not include the breakfast when we booked the room but they served the breakfast for free. We think that we could stay there next time we visit Rome. The staff was very nice and helpful. No phone in room and no written instructions for anything including safe evacuation can leave you vulnerable. I did not like the type "affitacamere" because you do not feel like an "hotel" and being a non Italian I did not understand upon booking the concept .... Breakfast restaurant in not good at all. Dirty, not helpful/friendly staff. I do not feel that the price paid for he rooms equals the overall services. Noisy. Without proper reception, not suitable for first time visitor to Rome.
