The location is very good for Vatican(with 10 more minutes walk until the other side of the river) The staff is brilliant, nice, helpfull people, with sincer smiles. The chef is very warm and funny. Breakfast terrace has an impesing view and a great variaty of fresh food. I'll also send my partens there.The hotel is partly renovated, we stayed in a very zen room 207, but they are all ok :).
all reviews » It was a modern and comfortable hotel in a good location for sightseeing in a pleasant area of Rome. The buffet breakfast was excellent served on the roof terrace with views over the rooftops to St Peter's Basilica. The bedroom was spacious. Was just what we wanted as we are not interested in fitness suites and swimming pools.Everything especially the breakfast. Fresh squeezed orange juice, sparkling wine etc. On the last day of our 3- day stay the chef made a heart and a flower on our coffee which was made fresh everytime. We will remember him forever. Fantastic property! Great room and bath with a little "smoking porch" where we could hang laundry. The breakfasts were over the top. Excellent value and primo location. The best hotel of our three week stay in Italy.Fantastic hotel. Excellent location - a lot of shops and sites very close by. Beautiful rooms (the one we stayed in was more 5* standard than 3*). It is very modern and luxurious with plasma TV and 4 poster bed. Breakfast was great, beautiful view from the top floor. Also location is good. About a ten minute walk into the centre.It is well located with easy access to buses, underground, taxis, etc. Having a full breakfast everyday was outstanding. I would recommend this hotel whenever you stay in Rome, it is very clean, modern with great restaurants surrounding the hotel. Staff was very helpful and supported our every need during the stay. (2) The location is not suitable for most of the tourist attractions of Rome (only the Vatican), unless you have a car. And taxis are expensive in italy!. elevator. we had to carry our own logage to our room and elevator is up on stairs and they had no staff to help us with that. On our retun on the last night we got a basic room which wasn't as nice considering we knew what the other rooms were like but as it was just for one night we didn't complain.Lack of an alarm clock in the room. Difficult to lie in after 8.30am as the cleaners are noisy in the corridors outside the rooms.no hotel bar. At breakfast normal coffee reom the machine cold, elevator slow. The roof terrace while afforded an excellent view and nignt have been ideal in summer it was too cold for evening meals in February. lovely view from roof where breakfast is served, its a pity during the day and evening you can not get snacks or a drink to enjoy the lovely view.Had evening meal in terrace restaurant and it was freezing,no heating at all!. The showers were cold day one we had a poor room but we were moved the next day to a lovely room. No coffee or tea making facitilites in the room. The room was a bit small but it is avdertised as a boutique style. Very few English speaking channels on the TV. A shower curtain or screen would be helpful stop the floor getting flooded.
