It was one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff was unbelievably courteous and helpful. The room was spotless clean and the mini bar was free of charge. The breakfast buffet was superb. The internet charge was minimal - which was I would recommend this hotel to anybody wanting to visit Rome. In fact we will visit Rome again, in late October, and will stay at the Hotel Artemide.

Roof terrace didn't have a great view, but it was fine for a late night drink. just one elevator for each side of the hotel and a pit slow.internet is not free, but it is cost 8 euro for 24 hours. had booked on basis that you had a 'roof top' garden. when arrived this was not open and only opened one eveining of our 4 day stay. would like to have been informed of this on booking, was very disappointed by this.The lack of coffee and tea facilities in the room. nothing about the hotel. just watch the men helping with bags at train station saying they are taxi drivers , they are not they put you bags on a free cart take you to the taxi stand then want 10euros almost what the cab takes to drive you to the motel. you don't have to pay that amount I didn't. Also watch out for the mimes dressed in white with canes they like to hook you purses and cameras.The room was small, but it suited its purpose. Requested an iron but was told that they do not have any as they offeran ironing service which was expensive. The breakfast could have been better. No vegetables at breakfast (but excellent variety of pastries !).

By airplane
The hotel is 30 minutes by train from Fiumicino Airport (FCO) and 15 minutes from Ciampino Airport (CIA).
From Fiumicino Airport: trains depart every 30 minutes for Termini Train Station in the city centre.
From Ciampino Airport: take a bus to Ciampino Train Station (10 mins). Trains depart every 30 minutes for Termini Train Station in the city centre. Alternatively, take a bus directly to Termini Station (approximately 50 mins).
