The hotel was close to the Termini and in a safe location. The girls at reception were friendly and helpful and also carried my suitcase up to the first floor...much appreciated . The bed was comfortable with furniture being tradipional. Staff were excellent, very helpful and informative. Walking to the cafe in the morning was a good exercise and breakfast was good too, we're not too fussy. Overall, a good experience apart from some bad bits which i described below.
all reviews » Excellent value for money. It has everything we needed. Excellent location, comfortable bed, shower and internet. If I will go to Rome again I would definitely stay there. Great location close to Termini station (exit to Via Marsala), great garden and really quiet area. Spacious room, free air condition and felt like apartment living. The location near termini station, gardens are beautiful. Staff was very helpful. Room is nice and spacious for the price in rome. I liked the location. The room was extermely clean - the staff cleaned it every day - they changed linens as well/. it was more than i expect! fresh air in both rooms . both rooms had frigider and very cleaner. very clean very friendly staff very safe hotel in the station area. The dad can't speak English and he is sometimes the only one there. Neat and tidy. Location is excellent,five minitue walk way to the timini and Metro B. The staff are friendly. close enough to train station. close to central station nice staff. Nothing,very bad surprise... The shower flowed onto the door,so quite wet underfoot in the bathroom. The breakfast was only a croissant and a coffee at a nearby cafe. Wifi was not working. Could be a bit cleaner- not impressed with the bed sheets. The breakfast it was really weak and the shower would make the whole bathroom wet. It was located in the C block and not in the A, this was not mentioned on any of the official papers. Outside it was written in Italian. Would prefer having the breakfast right at the hotel, would save time. Ricks cafe is very clean, but only get croissant and coffee. i expect for an american breakfast but maybe it was too much! more info about breakfast. Our bathroom did not feature a separate compartment for the shower. Initial confusion as to entrance;. I didnt like that the hotel was first floor of big building, i didnt understand this from review. on street level and was very loud. Breakfast was 4-5 blocks away. For both nights, there was a dog barking outside our window. Very disturbing. The breakfast was poor - almost not worth the hassle of walking to the bar to eat it. The facilities are too simple and too old. The lock of the door is very difficult to use. The breakfast is just a bread and a cup of tea or coffeee. In this price, I think you can have better choice. value for money. The room's furniture was too old. The bed wasn't comfortable at all. I couldn't sleep very well all night. The breakfast was a piece of cake and a coffee at a coffeebar 500m away from the hotel!. In our room there were obvious problems with the power supply. To be exact - with ground connections. It was on every water supply pipe. And even on the shower tip there was a wire. Very poor rooms,bathrooms horrible,we spent in the end 1 night in the room with sofa only (it was any "privat" room),after we changed hotel rather.
