  Beaufifully situated hotel. Very elegant and spacious rooms, directly on the lake. Very nice and professional crew.Magnificent views. Breakfast always fresh and big variety.   I loved the accommodation. Both the living room area and bedroom had patio doors leading to a balcony overlooking the lake. We had breakfast brought to our room, which was a lovely luxury, and a small kitchenette area where we could make tea and snacks. The whole experience was very relaxing. Very friendly and welcoming. Standard of accommodation exceptional, we had a suite with private terrace which was worth the extra cost.   Lake Garda is beautiful, with all the old small Italian towns and cities on the shore it is amazing. Toscolano Maderno is in the center of the lake in terms of location, you can go anywhere with the regular Boat service on the lake. For cycling I recommend the east and south side of the lake, the west side is full of tunnels which is not so nice a... what people say » t all. The hotel is acceptable choice in case of the weather is good and you are not linked to it, but in case you need to spend there daytime as well - This hotel had a real homely feel. It was a lot older than the other hotels on our trip but this was nice as it had lots of character and charm which was enhanced by the hilarious manager. The breakfast was a little limited although nice. What made this hotel really special was its location to the Lake and nearby Maderno. Also the music night that the manager laid on for the guests was fab. We took the ferry from Maderno across to Torri del Benaco priced at 13Euros per adult return. A great bas
