Any closer to the reason why you are in Pisa, would have to be, inside the campanile (that slightly leaning tower you might have heard about) You don't get any better location to the Campo than this. It's literally there. The terrace to have your first capuccino or machiato in the morning, while the sun creeps up above the medieval walls and the Baptistry dome is superb. There is free parking close by. The staff is lovely, friendly, and helpful.
all reviews » I did like the location is its extremely centre and close to the main attractions in Pisa. Having b'fast with the view of the Battistero. Good breakfast to start off with. Comfortable bed, with tv and small fridge, and shower/toilet. Receptionists, barman and cleaner very helpful. Staff were friendly & helpful. I could not get my AC to work on arrival but they sorted it immediately. Basic room but value for money considering amount paid and location. Travelled with 4 others 2 of us at this hotel. Very nice staff, ready to go an extra mile. Amazing patio on the roof. It feels like home. There is always someone from the staff to help you. Multilingual, we encontered at least Freanch, English and of course Italian. Fantastic location - right by the Duomo and Tower. Quiet area an nice to go for a walk in at any time of the day or night. Helpful and friendly staff when I arrived. Great location next to the world heritage zone. The terrace where we use dto have breakfast has views of the Dumo and the tower. Friendly staff. For location you cannot beat this place! Right by the entrance to the tower and basilica. Good price and has a roof terrace . excellent location right next to Piazza del Duomo. Location is great; next to Piazza dei Miracoli. The location was good. Very close to Pisa. Lovation. Nothing. Yes the A/C was not really cooling in the summer heat at night, but I didn't care. Opened the windows, and pronto! A/C and luxury are not the reasons I came to La Toscana. I did not like the fact that there was no lift especially for those disabled or who have heavy luggage. For me it wasnt a problem though as I had hang luggage only. Noise caused from customers outside (sitting area of Mc Donalds). If possible to apply double glazing windows to lessen the noise of both passers by and motorbikes. A fellow traveller SMITH who checked in at the same time as me complained about the hotel, but in fairness he complained about just about everything in the 2 week holiday. There was work going on which made it difficult to find, at first, as the building had scaffolding on it. There didn't seem to be enough staff - the guy on reception seemed to be the only person on duty. The room was on the small side and the en-suite had a smell that we couldn't quite identify!. Rather noisy Room a bit small, but ok Wifi didn't work in room, only in common areas. Our room was a bit cold and we had to use the extra blankets as the air conditioning did not help much. Breakfast could be better when comparing with similar class hotels. Black men hassling us to buy their rubbish when we want to be left alone outside our hotel. We would not be coming back to itlay ever again. Rooms a little on small side. Mosquito. No WiFi in Rooms as promised. Rooms were very basic, as was breakfast. Toilet has very loudly noise when switch on the light. Towel is very thin and unsoft. The room was very poorly appointed. It smelt of smoke and was very sparsely furnished. The shower leaked all over the floor. There was nowhere to put our toiletries in the bathroom. There was evidence of poor workmanship/maintenance in the bathroom. Breakfast was indifferent with very little choice. Certainly not worth 107 Euros. This hotel could be made into a real gem, with some care and attention, it's an opportunity missed. Compared to what shows on the description/photo's, it is very disappointing. The hotel is very basic, very small rooms and the terrace is poorly kept. Looks like a budget hotel. The breakfast variety was poor and the bath room was not that nice. It was okay. 1.There is no elevator.Need to carry 19 kg of luggage thru the stairs. 2.Name of the hotel was different from what was shown in the internet.Could cause serious headache to first traveler to Pisa. Really poor hotell.... Small rooms, the bed is outranged... Towels a joke Do not book here.
