Highly recommended. Newly renovated and decorated with care to a high standard in a very pleasant style (as on the pictures). Very, very clean. Common area (living room and kitchen) are large and inviting. It’s on the 3rd floor , there is a lift/elevator. all reviews » We used the shuttle service to get from the airport to the Residenza which suited us well. The place was very clean and modern. The bathroom for the room is not actually connected to the room but across the hall. This isn't a big deal as there are only about 4 rooms in the hall. The minibar is cheap and well stocked. There is a supermarket just around the corner as well as some nice restaurants and an information centre. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful with good English. They gave . The common areas were very nice, featuring a stylish couch, large dining/games table, a furnished balcony terrace, and large wall-mounted flat-screen TV (@ 55"). The room was moderately large, nicely furnished, and had a comfortable bed with stylish headboard. While the room also featuring a small LCD TV, what surprised me most in the room was the fact that the minibar featured items that were very reasonably priced, enough so to not make it worthwhile to venture to a corner store for water o. The hotel is very charming. Rooms are big, new, clean and comfortable. Bathroom is great, very stylish. We had a room with outside private bathroom, but it is not really an issue. Since there are only few rooms, the corridor is always quiet and the bathroom is just few steps away. Breakfast is good and in our case almost personalized (in the first day we asked something they didn't have, but... they made sure we always had it the following days!). This is a fantastic place in the heart of the best part of Palermo. We spent 4 nights here and we loved it. Very helpful and friendly staff who helped with everything needed. Via Wagner is located in the most wealthy and safe part of the city, plenty of restaurants and shopping opportunities just down the street and immediate access to major cultural sights. It is just around the corner from the airport bus stop, close to good local restaurants and a short walk from the historic sites. While the tables/chairs used for breakfast seating was stylish, I though the table was smallish/lightweight and the leg design invited mishaps/spills. While the breakfast itself was simple "continental", the variety/offerings could have been more substantial. This was the only very small detraction from a great lodging experience. Everything was perfect - maybe ditch the tv in the breakfast room. Tv first thing in the morning is no way to start the day. We had no problems whatsoever. All perfect! Our room (Nr 1) had its bathroom directly in the room, which was fantastic. Some rooms have their own bathroom outside on the corridor, so if this matters to you check-out in advance what room you will get. The breakfast could have been better and the fact that the bathroom is outside the room could be uncomfortable for some guests. Nothing. The internet was patchy in our room, but sitting in the lounge wasn't a problem. Wifi could be better. Breakfast was very basic but still yummy. The default breakfast hours are 8.30 to 10.00. This should be sufficient for most people though. Fortunately they changed it to 08.00 for me. Note that some restaurants in the vicinity close at 23.00, which in my opinion is rather early for Italy. For the price, nothing to dislike or complain about. A bit hard to find as the entrance from the street is to an apartment type building, and not a large hotel type entrance. The same with the first hall going in, which is the same as for the rest of the building. But I was very pleasantly surprised once I got inside the Rezidenza Wagner itself. The private bathroom across the hallway was a bigger annoyance than anticipated and the main gripe I would have. The breakfast was nothing special and could be easily improved. Wifi access was sometimes problematic in our room and not the fastest. Despite these issues would stay here again next time, great value for money. Try to book the rooms with en-suite bathroom. Nothing ! - could not fault this place if you are in Palermo without a car. Don't know about car parking - but you would be mad to rent a car in Palermo. Having meeting the owners I'm sure this is going to be fixed. Wi-fi didn't function properly in the room. Only sweet dishes for breakfast. not much selection at breakfast. Almost no wifi signal in the room (room 1). The breakfast was a bit dull. Bathroom is outside my bed room. It's a kind of not so convenient. Wifi didn't work in the room (but did work in the reception area). Parking is a bit difficult, but there is a parking garage nearby for 15 euros per night. unbelievable traffic during rush hours, not respecting rules.
