  All the staff who we encountered at the hotel were extremely helpful and courteous. Through all areas we received excellent customer care. Our bedroom was beautiful with stylish, high quality furnishings and luxury bathroom products. It was spotlessly clean. Breakfast could be enjoyed in the pretty courtyard and there was an excellent buffet bre... what people say » akfast available. The hotel also offers the opportunity of a complimentry tour of the Castell which I would highly recommend. Due to its quiet rural - Marvellous room and great staff. Still no pool and not likely any time soon. Food expensive but a great base for exploring lakes Maggiore and Orta.

  Hotel Ristorante San Carlo is located above Lake Maggiore with stunning views which extended to the Swiss/Italian alps. The lakeside towns were rustic and interesting although 'quiet' during our winter stay. The room was large and modern and all facilities worked well. We enjoyed our three nights in this wonderful hotel and felt safe and contented in the lee of Europe's tallest stat - We booked two rooms, a double for my husband and me and a single for our adult son. We had the amazing view of the lake which was so serene and our son's window was filled with the imposing figure of San Carlo. Wonderful! The place was immaculately clean, the staff very friendly and waited up for us to arrive at 11pm. There was a good range available for breakfast and the dinner menu offered local cuisine, rabbit pie, fish from the lake etc. All with that amazing view.

  This b&b is run by a lovely couple, very welcoming people, who gave us the feeling that we are at home. We rented two rooms, one for us and our 5 years old child, and one for our parents who shared another apartment with two of our kids. The rooms as well as the whole house are very nicely decorated. Parking tight but good to be available.

  Friendly, helpful,like able staff at desk and breakfast room. Great breakfast selections. Desk let us in room at 9:30 a.m., even invited us to have breakfast. Would definitely stay again.
