The piece of safe and civilized Europe in the crazy town of Napoli. Far from an unpleasant Garibaldi Piazza with its railway station (where most of hotels are). Location is nice and easy-to-get, buses and cafes are nearby. Personel is professional. Well, personnel is simply excellent, thanks them. Besides, it feels like an old continental style in everything. Location and staff. Use to be a convent in the 17th century and was interesting to stay there. Had a room with a balcony and could enjoy watching life in the neighborhood from it. Was an eldery lady that lowered a bucket from her balcony and the delivery boy put a pizza in it and she raised it up 3 stories and took it out!.

The room was facing the street, however there was sound proofing of the room so that it was possible to sleep comfortably. Breakfast was excellent. I would recommend this hotel. The staff is great, location is noisey.great location if you are looking to stay in the Spanish Quarter and see authentic Naples; close to the one of the main shopping streets and the embarcations for Capri and Ischia. Staff were all helpful and friendly. Hotel managers were very considerate and helpful.We liked the location of the hotel. It is located on the outskirts of the Spanish Quarter, an area often receiving bad press in many guides, but we felt quite comfortable in the area. The main attraction was walking through the meandering streets filled with washing lines and gossiping old nonnas and experiencing the general hustle and bustle of la vita Napolitana. The breakfast was also nice. Nothing to complaint about. But! A very small thing - the breakfast shall definitely include some usual sliced bread:). No. So close to Toledo and enjoyed the evening walks. Breakfast, lack of fruits and coffee quality.Only that we felt the breakfast lacking in fresh fruit, but this is very minor. Breakfast was nothing special. Wash Cloths. The room is a bit too cold, especially during the winter season.The hotel is positioned next to a church and the bells can be heard from very early in the morning. The walls are thin and the vents in the room allowed the infiltration of cigarette smoke, which for an asthmatic like myself, wasn't a pleasant thing. Having said all this, all the positives definitely outweigh the bad. On a busy street; hard to sleep; hotel is very hard tollocate.
